Can Bob Redstone help a shifter woman hiding from her past, face the demons that shadowed her youth, or will they both fall while trying to prevent disaster?

On a mission far from home, he finds a sweet vulnerable lady...

Bob is a cougar shifter, one of the elite Redstone Alphas. On a mission for his Clan, he meets a fragile young woman, and finds himself drawn to her as never before.

A woman with a brutal past...

Serena is a bobcat shifter. Orphaned at the age of six, she was raised among humans until she was just barely a teen. Discovered by a Clan of unscrupulous bobcats, she was adopted and beaten on a regular basis because she refused to be a mule for their drug trade across the US-Canadian border. She doesn't have a lot of experience with men, but when she meets Bob Redstone, she finds him nearly irresistible.

A savage attack...

When their haven comes under siege, they take to the road. Bob has been tasked with keeping her safe, but they're also on a mission to find a mysterious warrior-shaman who's gone off the grid. Finding him means returning to Serena's former territory and possibly confronting those who abused her trust so badly, but they have no other choice.

Can she overcome her past to embrace the future with a man who could very well be her mate, or will the evil in her former Clan overpower their fragile, fledgling relationship?

Definitely moves along the major plot arc.

Interesting pair, I'm not quite sold on how "brave" our heroine was ... I mean after the first fireball you know the mcguffin will keep you from harm? But -- yes confronting tormentors -- brave. Hmmm.

Serena needed a lot of down time and recovery following the escape from her adopted family

Bob was asked to his older brother, Grif to go on a mission. A member of there clan was asked to represent there findings to the Lords. He was just that person. Bob is a cougar shifter, one of the elite Redstone Alphas. On a mission for his Clan, he meets a fragile young woman and finds himself drawn to her as never before.
Serena was hurt badly from her adoptive parent. She was beaten on a regular basis because she refused to be a mule for their drug trade across the US-Canadian border. She doesn’t have a lot of experience with men, but when she meets Bob Redstone, she finds him nearly irresistible. She only had sex in animal form when she was younger. She found an irresponsible urge to try sex in human form with this new handsome stranger. Who felt to easy to be with. The Lords were so good to her and the wolves here. A grizzly shifter named Rocky, was a good man as well. She was learning that her group was unhealthy, and not the standard.

Bob and Serena are probably my favourite of the Redstone couples.
Bob's really easygoing, and his thoughtfulness and patience with Serena when she's learning how to stay in her skin is good.
Serena is a self-aware, and strong woman - she knows her limits and works around them, venturing in the danger with Bob to rescue someone who saved her before.
I really like coincidence of Bobcat lol

“In remembrance of HE who made the blind see”

Bobcat (Restone Clan #4) Bianca D’Arc

Seriously these reads just keep getting more interesting as she releases them. Wow I really loved Bob’s story. It gave a more in-depth look at the magnitude of just how far the evil Venifucus’s reach is. Amazing.
Bob Redstone was sent on a mission to the Lord’s mountain to go over in detail all the information that has been gathered so far on the activities of the Venifucus. Normally it would have been the Redstone Alpha, his brother Grif. But since his three older brothers Grif, Steve and Mag were recently mated and were still in honeymoon bliss when Bob was asked to go represent them he couldn’t refuse. Especially since their women had such a rough time with all the changes.
Bob headed out to meet with the Lord’s and when he reached his destination he know he would have to earn their trust. He was given a cabin filled with everything he needed and food should he choose to cook there. Rocky, (you remember him from Tales of the Were) showed him to his cabin and let him know where his home was and basically warned (in a nice way) they would be watching Bob. After he got settled he was excited to let his Cougar out and roam/run the mountain side. It was beautiful and his cougar wanted to explore. Bob started out when he caught the scent of a shifter, feline and definitely female, so he started to follow it. Low and behold he spotted her.
Serena a bobcat shifter (definitely a few funnies where referenced in the read about Bob) orphaned as a child and mostly raised by humans was in her cat form. When the Bobcat Clan of the Cascade’s found out about her she was adopted by Lizzy and Jack. Here is where her troubles and distrust started. When she refused to be their drug mule she was beaten every day. She sustained broken bones, bruises and cuts. This was her life. So you can understand her reluctance to stay in her human form. Her cat took over and it was a mechanism for survival and protection for her. Serena had no desire to be with a bobcat male and really had no experience with males, except for bad ones. So you can imagine her despair when she realized another cat was there with her. Bob sensing she might run was very very careful not to spook her. This part was so cute in the book. They ended up playing though cautiously. Bob was intrigued by her and her by him. As time progressed their relationship progressed and truth be told their cats knew and accepted they were mates. In fact Bob’s human side was falling hard. This is all I can give here. But I wanted to mention a few other highlights of the read.
When Bob was working with Rocky in his home office and being interrogated to little munchkin bears came barging in. I was floored at the surprise twist at this point in the read. Gave me goose bumps. Then you have the part where the Lord’s Mountain/domain is under attack and their people were sent to safety. Bob was asked to take Serena to his clan for her safety, and since the mountain was under siege there weren’t any available bodies to go warn Jezza (a shaman) that he could be in danger. So obviously Bob volunteered once he got Serena to safety. As it was he couldn’t get her to safety and had to bring her with him. On their trek to finding Jezza Bob finds out that ancient Talisman given to him by Father Vincenzo ( a man who had a profound influence on Bob) could actually do. They ran across the Cascade Wolf Pack and their Alpha John Lightfoot, who plays a major roll moving forward in the read. So does his pack and a few of the visitors who happen to be at the right place at the right time. The confrontation towards the later chapters is amazing. Serena steps up to the plate and really shows the person she is meant to be. It was really a beautiful story and action packed. In my opinion to get the full blown picture of this story from start to this point your really need to start with her Brotherhood of Blood (introduces lots of the characters) then you need to read her Tales of the Were, then her String of Fate then continue with The Redstone Clan. You will get a full picture of this saga. Trust me you will not be disappointed with any of these reads. 5* isn’t even enough but that’s all they’ll let me give. Happy Reading.

Lovers of paranormal romance and an enthralling story would love D'Arc' Tales of Were/Redstone Clan series. With each successive book, we see the warriors of good matching steadily toward the final showdown with evil--in the form of Elspeth and her apostles, the Venifucus. The Redstones, as one of the most influential clans in North America, have found themselves at the epicenter of the battle. As each brother battles evil and finds their mate, the intensity of the stories increase as well. And in all honesty, Bobcat was my most favorite, which is saying something since I loved all the stories so far, and it blew me away. I adored Bob! He was an alpha's Alpha but totally recognized, accepted and appreciated Serena's need to stand on her own two feet. D'Arc expertly showed Serena's metamorphysis from timid to fierce. Although she was fearful of the situations surrounding her and Bob, she was not afraid. The integration of characters from previous stories was fluid and organic and story continuity was brilliant. Everything in this story just worked and worked well for me. I can't wait to see who D'Arc hooks Matt up with.

I am a huge Bianca D'Arc fan so seeing the latest installment in the Redstone series mesh with her Lords of the Were books and her recent release King's Throne made me all kinds of warm and giddy.

Redstone books are a guaranteed great read and Bobcat is no different. Seeing it so fluidly entwined with characters and locales we already feel deeply connected to (Hello, Rocky!) while touching upon events taking place almost simultaneously in another series (Hello, tigers in Iceland!) was genius. She seamlessly manages to make us relive what we loved about these past characters while whetting our appetites for what may come in all three series.

Bob and Serena's story is one you can't help but love. You love seeing them come together while fighting to save the world as they know it.

I did not put this down until it was done. I couldn't!

ok so I love this series and this author, wow is all I can say what a wonderful gift Bob was given in that cross and to be able to protect himself and everyone else definitely a true gift. Serena was a good character in how she grew into herself to get over the abuse that happened to her. I cant wait for Matt's book to see how the story of these brothers end.

One hell of an adventure

I have read all these books so far,and everyone is wonderful. I love how each books flows from the one before. Also if you have not read the ones before you should they are just as good. Start with Tales of the Were and go from there you won't be disappointed.
