It's always dark in the Lobby, the underlit underbelly of Battery City. No one knows this better that Blue, a down-on-her-luck porno droid sick and tired of dim streets filled with wasted parts, static and Scarecrow patrols lookin' to party. Blue's true companion is Red, whose battery is low and whose life is running short. Together they long to flee the confines of BLI and reach the desert, where the electricity stops and their new lives begin.
Gerard Arthur Way (born April 9, 1977) is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and comic book writer who served as frontman, lead vocalist, and co-founder of the band My Chemical Romance from the time of its formation in 2001 until its breakup in 2013. He is the author of the Eisner Award-winning comic book series The Umbrella Academy (now a Netflix original series) and The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. In January 2014, he announced via Twitter that he and artist Gabriel Ba will begin work on Umbrella Academy Volumes 3 & 4 in late 2014/early 2015. His debut solo album Hesitant Alien was released on September 30, 2014. Way lives in Los Angeles, California, with his wife Lindsey (bassist of Mindless Self Indulgence) and their daughter, Bandit.
Red Pornbot has TAKEN THE LEAD for my favorite character. The love between blue and red is so pure and awesome and true... and vaguely creepy because they freaking look alike...
it just get better and better, once you pass the first deck you just can't stop. I love the art work, it's beautiful. I literally don't have words to tell how much I'm enjoying this.
