Jules discovers that her friend, Jack Kilgore, has been marked for death and damnation by a coven of witches who are bent on bringing back to life a powerful and evil ancient witch.
The Crying Witch (Freaky Jules #4) by Tom Upton is a great fourth book in the series. In this book, Jules finds out her friend is in deep trouble with a coven of witches and a demon that could mean his death. Somehow she has to figure out a way to get him out of trouble. It is another wonderful fun read, full of humor and action and a bit of suspense!
Poor Jules, she just wants to be normal. With her background that won't happen. Jules has connections to the supernatural in some strange ways that her grandma Ginny calls her destiny. The legend of The crying Witch is all too real for Jules and the tale that happened in the 1600's is all too real for Jules and her friend Jack Kilgore. This is a continuing series that I know readers will love. Included after this story are excerpts from the first three books. A definite added bonus.
I really enjoyed this story. This is the fourth Freaky Jules story I've read, and yes, there are editing problems, but I've come to expect that from books like this. Its actually not as bad as some others that I've read. The story, though, is interesting. The characters are fun, the situations are entertaining, and I feel that they really portray teenagers well (aside from the paranormal aspect). I was pleasantly surprised with this story, and with the series in general. I ended up getting them for free on Amazon, but after reading them, I've become more interested in Tom Upton's work and can say that his works ARE worth paying for. I hope this isn't the last Freaky Jules book.
