They’re single, they’re rich, and now these billionaire bachelors are heading to Sanctuary Island in a new e-original novella series from Lily Everett! Fall in love with the heartwarming island’s latest catch.

Leo, Zane, and Cooper made a pact to stay bachelors and enjoy the single life forever, and when they receive an invitation to their friend Miles’ wedding, they head down to Sanctuary Island determined to talk some sense into the errant groom before he makes a life-changing mistake. But Miles knows his own mind, and he makes a vow of his own: before he walks down the aisle, he’ll have Leo, Zane, and Cooper changing their tune about matrimony. Because Miles knows, better than anyone, that all it takes is a little Sanctuary Island magic to turn romantic cynics into true believers.

Cooper Haynes can’t believe how easily his friends have all succumbed to the lure of romance. Luckily, he knows he’s safe, since the one woman he ever loved is lost to him forever. But when he gets a look at the wedding program and sees the list of bridesmaids, Cooper knows he’s in trouble, because there she is: Vivian Banks. After her shattering break-up with Cooper, Vivian never wanted to see him again, but when Greta asks her to be a bridesmaid, Vivian can’t refuse…even knowing it’ll bring her face to face with the man who broke her heart and stomped on the pieces. But Sanctuary Island has a way of reminding people of what really matters, and teaching them the power of the human heart to forgive, heal, and fall in love all over again.

Lantern Lake by Lily Everett is a January 2014 St. Martin's Press Publication. I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Cooper is on Sanctuary Island for the wedding of his friend Mile's wedding. He can not believe it when Greta invites Vivian to be one of the bridesmaids. But, maybe he can turn the tables on the lovely Vivian. She left him without a word and now although it has been ten years, he is still angry and embittered. So, how would Vivian feel if he seduced her and then just left without so much as a goodbye? Sounds like plan... until he has the chance to get his revenge and it turns out not be all it was cracked up to be. Vivian has changed since he last saw her. Yes, she is still beautiful, but there is a sadness about her and she has built a protective wall around herself. It is obvious to Cooper that something happened to Vivian all those years ago and it wasn't good whatever it was. Will Cooper discover what caused Vivian to leave him all those years ago? What has she been doing the last ten years that has changed her so much? Will the magic of Sanctuary Island work it's magic on Cooper and Vivian or will Miles lose the bet he made with the Billionaire Brothers?

This is the third book in the Billionaire Brothers series. This chapter deals with a romance that ended suddenly and without explanation ten years ago. Cooper is the type of person that needs to exact revenge before he can move on. The more he learns about Vivian and the terrible times she had over the past ten years, the more he wants to let go of his long held resentment toward her, but he feels the need to exact justice on those that hurt her. Vivian is a person that was never happy until she met Cooper. He was the absolute love of her life. But, Vivian succumbed to pressure by her parents and she has regretted it every day of her life since then. Now that there is the slightest hope she and Cooper could have a second chance at love, she just wants to live in the here and now and look to a positivie future. But, can Cooper let it go and just be happy with the life they could have now?
This is a really sweet story and Cooper certainly gains our sympathy once we know what happened between him and Vivian. But, once Vivian's story came out I felt bad for both of them. They both lost ten years of happiness together because of the greed and manipulations of others. We watch Cooper come to terms with the old feeling he harbored for ten years and slowly allows his long buried love for Vivian to come to the surface. Vivien never stopped loving Cooper and although she made a big mistake and hurt him really bad , she has the chance to find peace and a second chance with Cooper. Who doens't love stories like this one? I always melt like butter when two people scarred by circumstances have the last laugh in the end. In this case Cooper and Vivien may have had a little help from the magical Sanctuary Island. Overall this one is an A.

Another sweet installment to Lily Everett's Billionaire Bachelor's series where billionaire Miles Harrington is playing matchmaker for his three best friends. This third book in the series, LANTERN LAKE, is actually a second chance story for his friends, Cooper Haynes and Vivian Blake. Miles introduced them in college, where they fell in deeply in love and planned to marry, but they were both left with broken hearts due to outside forces.

Miles and his new bride, Greta have asked them both to be in the bridal party hoping to reunite these broken-hearted lovers. At first Cooper is still too angry to do anything but plot his revenge and Vivian is feeling too guilty to do anything but wait for his wrath to hit. But the attraction and deep connection they felt for one another wins out over the pain when neither can resist the chance for just one more night together before walking away once again. Or can they truly let the love of their life walk away again? The ownership of Miles' prized helicopter is still hanging in the balance for the answer to this question.

Ms. Everett has given us another sweet, love story for those of us who need our quick romantic fixes this hits the spot just right!

Ah, second chance romance. It's no secret that I was looking forward to Vivian and Cooper's story right from the beginning of this series, and I have to say that I enjoyed this novella more than the other two combined. Cooper was swoon-worthy and Vivan wasn't horrible ;) I enjoyed the pacing of this story and the way things unfolded.
"There are lots of places I want to kiss you--the top of the Eiffel Tower, in the shadow of the Parthenon, under an arch at the Alhambra...the list goes on and on. And when we're done making out around the globe, we'll come back home."

I could have done without the FTB, but what are you going to do? It was way swoonier and steamier than the other two novellas.

Lantern Lake was the perfect ending to a series that is good for romance fans and billionaire fans.

Miles Harrington, first introduced in the Billionaire Brothers Trilogy Book Three also which set on Sanctuary Island, gathers his three friends together to announce his engagement to Greta and his wedding plans. The three friends, Zane Bishop, CEO of Whatever Entertainment and owner of three highly successful Manhattan night clubs, Lord Leo Strathairn, playboy younger son of a wealthy English Lord, and Cooper Haynes, who is a self made billionaire, are floored by the news and at first try to dissuade him and then ask if he is being blackmailed into marriage. When they finally accept he loves Greta he asks each of his chosen groomsmen to do a task to help with the wedding. He wants Miles to arrange the wedding venue and reception. His request to Leo is that he choose a special reading for the wedding. Lastly he asks that Cooper arrange the honeymoon trip of a lifetime.

As the three prepare to depart the Biltmore Club and Miles announces that he is taking his private helicopter back to Sanctuary Island the men come up with a bet. Miles agrees to give the winner his helicopter and private access to club helicopter pad, something the other three can not hope to attain for years if ever, in exchange for their coming to the Island with him now. They are to stay until the wedding four weeks hence. The bet is that their lives will be changed forever and that they will find the loves of their lives before Miles walks down the aisle to say I do. Each man is confident he will win and accept the bet.

Lantern Lake is the third in the second novella series by Lily Everett set on Sanctuary Island. It is Cooper Haynes and Vivian Banks story. Years before while still in college Cooper and Vivian met and fell in love. Coming from totally different backgrounds Cooper was devastated when Vivian gave in to pressure to leave him standing on the Courthouse steps with a license and return home and marry the man of their choice from their social circle. When Cooper stands beside Miles and watches the bridesmaids walk down the aisle he is both shocked and angered to see Vivian as one of them. He decides to seduce the woman who broke his heart and walk away from her as she did to him all those years ago. Revenge is a dish best served cold because a cold empty heart is required for the act and heat can crack a cold heart.

This is the last in Billionaire Bachelors Trilogy and as such brings the storyline to a close. You will discover who, if anyone, wins the bet and the helicopter and pad usage at the Biltmore Club. As always Lily Everett provides us with a story filled with quick turns and humorous dialog. There is still the Sanctuary Island Novels for me to read and enjoy as well. If you have not read the other books in this trilogy I recommend you do so even this story can stand alone. If you received as much pleasure from this series might I suggest reading The Billionaire Brothers Trilogy as well. This trilogy covers Miles Harrington and his two younger brothers and the women that heal and warm their hearts. Thank you to NetGalley for selecting me to review Lantern Lake in exchange for my honest review.

This is the 3rd in the Billionaire Bachelor series and this series just kept getting better as it went along. Each Bachelor and the respective female lead had their own unique personalities, which I really liked. I certainly didn't want to read the same type of character in different situations but I resonated the most with this book in the series.

As with the first two novellas, we are on Sanctuary Island for Miles and Greta's wedding, however this novella picks up Cooper's story at the wedding itself, whereas the first two novellas were set in the weeks previous. The lead female, Vivian, only arrives on the scene the night before the wedding and we find out that Viv and Cooper share a painful past, a love affair that was cut short, and Cooper holds some pretty intense feelings for the way that Viv ended things. He is bitter and is determined that he will get over Viv once and for all if he makes her feel the same way he felt all those years ago when she left without a word.

Cooper thinks that Viv has been enjoying the high life all those years without him, but unbeknownst to Cooper, nothing could be further from the truth. Viv hides some pretty heartbreaking secrets and feels a great deal of remorse for the way their relationship ended.

I really connected with these characters and I didn't feel rushed in this novella but could have easily read a longer novel about them. I like reading about second chances and I enjoyed the dialogue between all the characters. I thought that Lantern Lake had a better balance between giving us the details of the story, and what could be left out due to the confines of keeping to the length of a novella. I connected with and felt the emotional pain from both characters, and was easily able to slip in to their story. I really like a romance book with a bit of angst, tender loving moments, sexy love scenes, a dialogue that is fun, serious and relateable, and strong characters that have faced adversity and come through it all to stand tall on their own, but can recognise and fight for love when they find "the one". While this novella is not in the erotic category it had plenty of steam and and I felt satisfied that I hadn't missed too much that would detract from the story.

The only thing I would have liked at the end of this novella was to have a small epilogue that tidied up "the bet" and to see where these characters were some time after the wedding.

Overall, I liked this whole series and will be going back to read the Billionaire Brothers series as well as looking up Lily Everett's full length novels.

Cooper Haynes has arrived to Sanctuary Island to stand next to his best friend Miles' at his wedding. He is bound and determined not to fall prey to what Miles' considers the island's romantic allure, causing everyone who comes there to fall in love. Why? Because the woman he loved, the woman who broke his heart, is also across the aisle as a bridesmaid. His ex, Vivian Banks. Cooper is still attracted to Vivian and decides to use the opportunity to use and lose Vivian the way she did him all those years ago.

Vivian's life has been turned upside down since she made the regretful decision to follow her family's wishes instead of her heart's. When she sees Cooper, all of those feelings come rushing back. She has a feeling that Cooper will try to make her fall in love with him all over again, although she wonders if she ever stopped, and decides to give herself one more night of pleasure in Cooper's arms and hopes that she can watch him walk away with her heart still intact.

This is the third and final installment of Ms. Everett's Billionaire Bachelors series. And she has saved the best for last! This bulk of the book takes place after Miles' wedding which was a nice change from the first two books in the series. I felt like she had the most character development in this one. You start off feeling sorry for Miles' broken heart. You feel his anger at Vivian and you really want to hate her, knowing how she led Miles on only to leave him waiting at the courthouse to get married without even a reason as to why she left.

And yet, by the middle of the book, you are cheering for them to get back together! When you find out why Vivian left and how badly she had yearned for Cooper after all these years, you realize the place they both need to be is by each other's side. Cooper has spent those years apart chasing death and "living life to the fullest" while Vivian has fallen farther down than she could ever imagine. Coming to Sanctuary Island was a new beginning for her and after seeing Cooper, she realizes she wants a new beginning with him as well.

This final book really is the best, not only in terms of characters, but also in tugging at your heartstrings. So many novellas that come out don't come close to developing characters the way Ms. Everett does. If you are looking for a quick, romantic read, you cannot do better than Lily Everett!!

I received an advance reader edition of this book from St. Martin's Press and Net Galley for the purpose of providing an honest review.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novella. I would rate this story a solid 4 out of 5 stars. This is the third book in the Billionaire Bachelors trilogy. I was lucky enough to have the chance to read all of the books in the trilogy in order but I each novella could be read as a stand alone. The novellas do share several characters and a bet that ties everything together but the focus of the each story is the individual romance.

This story picks up at the wedding of Miles and Greta. Miles has bet 3 of his billionaire friends that if they came to Sanctuary Island to help him get ready for the wedding they will fall in love.....or they can have his luxury helicopter. Cooper is jolted when he spots his former love, Vivian at the wedding. Vivian broke Cooper's heart 10 years ago. Cooper decides on the spot to punish Vivian by seducing her and then leaving as she left him so many years ago.

Cooper soon realizes that he does not want to leave quite so soon. Cooper and Vivian decide to work on the cabin she has recently purchased in a business deal. After spending more time together, Cooper learns that he did know everything that happened to cause Vivian to leave so many years ago. Vivian has been through a lot in their years apart and she eventually shares everything that has brought her to the place in life she is currently in. The book does end with a Happily Ever After ending that most romance readers enjoy.

I would definitely recommend this book to any reader that enjoys romance. It is a short novella and can easily be read in a couple of hours. I plan to look for future works by Lily Everett.

Well, Miles did it. He ambushed Cooper at his and Greta’s wedding. How you ask? By not telling him that the two of them had asked Miles old and dear friend, Vivian Banks, to be in the wedding. This would make Cooper Hayes upset why you ask? Well, Viv and Cooper were do to get married. He had the marriage license in hand at the courthouse and she never showed up.
Emotions are running high for Cooper when he figures out that he is partnered to walk out of the church with Viv. He does it but it is hard. Viv thought Miles had cleared it with him and told him so. When the new couple tosses the flowers to her and says Viv was next in line to marry if they could just find a groom both looking at him. He chuckles and escorts Viv to the beach for the reception. On his way he comes up with his plan.
Cooper plans to seduce Viv spend this special night dancing, romancing, and then bedding her only to be gone in the morning. He starts off his plan by slipping a $50.00 to the band leader to play “At Last” they dance, drink, eat, and mingle with friends. After the bride and groom leave…
See how Cooper sees Viv now. Can he ask all the questions he needs the answers to? When he turns to leave Viv, is it as easy as he thought? Or does she make him think twice? Does she reveal things that are shocking enough to make him lose the bet?
Out of the three stories in this series I like this the best. It has so much irony and it is more believable, grittier, the characters were more real especially with their emotions. You know for billionaires, since I hang around with so many you see. NOT!!! Viv finally found her voice, though. Nice short read. Provided by netgalley.com

I enjoyed this contemporary romance novella, Book 3 of the Billionaire Bachelors trilogy. Vivian Banks and Cooper Hayes meet, years after a college breakup, at Miles and Greta's wedding. The breakup was bitter for Vivian, and confusing to Cooper. When he sees her, all he can think of is getting revenge at her for leaving him with no explanation. His plan is for one night of pleasure, then he walks away and leaves her forever. Well, you know what they say about best-laid plans.

The years left a smouldering flame inside each of them. Vivian has carried the weight of her breakup with Cooper, followed by a sham of an arranged marriage, and then unbelievable criminal lies and behavior of her now ex-husband, and her parents. Almost penniless, the once well off Vivian, has found comfort in an old rundown house on Lantern Lake. All she wants from Cooper is his forgiveness for her leaving him and not having the backbone to stand up to her parents.

Cooper is a big, strong, man with a tender heart. He is a billionaire, but he knows life is not about the money. He realizes very quickly that he never got over his love for Vivian, and she's the only woman for him. He can forgive this beautiful woman for anything.

Tender, yet sizzling with love scenes, you don't want to miss "Lantern Lake" by rising star, Lily Everett.

Lantern Lake is the third and final novella in The Billionaire Bachelors Trilogy by Lily Everett. This series is about three billionaire bachelors, Leo, Zane and Cooper, who happen to fall in love amidst the magical ambiance of Sanctuary Island. Their good friend Miles fell in love on the island and is now getting married. Each bachelor is on the mystical isle preparing for his romantic, beach wedding. This story is actually a second chance romance and Cooper is in the hot spot.

Cooper felt the anger move through his body as he watched the former love of his life, Vivian Banks, walk down the aisle. He quickly put a plan of revenge into place as the old memories and deep hurt encapsulated him. Vivian left him at the alter ten years ago, without even leaving a note. They were in their last year of college, in love and she disappeared from his life on their never to be wedding day.

Vivian, a former debutante, has lived a lifetime guilt, hurt and anguish since leaving Cooper years ago. Young, naive, and scared, she cowered to her psycho parents and became their pawn in a get rich quick scam. Now she is finally free, and extremely hopeful that Cooper can forgive her and maybe love her again.

This is a great story. It is chock full of twists and turns in all the right places. This is a quick-read that flows nicely from beginning to end. Don't pass on the opportunity to read The Billionaire Bachelors Trilogy by Lily Everett.

A fateful day in Cooper’s past caused him to start traveling the world, to get away from the pain. He gave his heart, he loved with every part of him, but it wasn’t enough for her; she just walked away from it all. He was determined to never love again, but that was before Vivian walked down the aisle at his friend’s wedding.
This by far was my favorite novella in this trilogy. I enjoyed Cooper and Vivian, their past and their journey to rediscover their love. I would have loved to read a full length novel of this love story. There seems to be much more to the characters than the short glimpse we get. I felt Cooper’s hostility towards Vivian was believable, and even though his idea of revenge seemed cruel I thought it was appropriate for the character. The ordeal Vivian lived through during their ten years apart was more than enough penance for the pain she caused Cooper.
Where I was satisfied with the depth of character development in the other two novellas in this trilogy, I found myself wanting in this one. I think it was because I really enjoyed the story line and wanted more detail. Out of the three novellas this one had the steamiest scenes; but again nothing was overly graphic. Cooper and Vivian were the most believable couple in my opinion and left me believing they did have a HEA.
I received this novella from the publisher via NetGalley for my honest review.

What a powerful conclusion to a whirlwind e-novella trilogy to introduce us to Sanctuary Island. This is the final book of three, which follows Cooper and Vivian's story. What made this story different, is that Cooper and Vivian have a past which left Cooper completely demolished. The story begins at the Wedding of Miles and Greta and along the way, we find out why Cooper is so angry at the girl who was once the love of his life and we get to root for them to find their way back to each other. This story was heavier than the other two and your truly feel the pain of both characters. I wasn't as wild about Cooper as I was about Zane and Leo, but in the end, I truly enjoyed this story. Your sympathy lies with Vivian as we learn how the past 10 years of her life have unfolded and you feel her guilt and pain throughout the short story. As always, there is a shining light at the end of the tunnel and I couldn't wait to see how it would all work out. A beautifully written short story of true love conquering all. Now, it's time to jump into the full length Sanctuary Island Stories. This trilogy was an extremely clever way to introduce author's to this new series and I for one can't wait to get started.

Billionaire, Miles Harrington (Island Road), is getting married and has laid a wager to three of his fellow Billionaire friends. The prize? His custom helicopter and restricted access to the helipad at the Biltmore Club.

I am betting that each of you will find the course of your life forever altered by your trip to Sanctuary Island. In fact, I'm wiling to bet each of you will find love there. -- Whoever is still single and unattached by the time I march down the aisle gets the helicopter.

This is the third book to the trilogy series.

Leo (The Fireside Inn) and Zane (Bonfire Beach) are already deeply entranced by ladies on the island, but Miles knows he's going to have to get crafty with Cooper.

Ten years ago, Cooper was left "standing at the alter" by the love of his life. He's harbored some serious anger issues towards her since.
Vivian, a longtime childhood friend of Miles, left the only man she loved to appease her controlling parents & entered into a loveless marriage that left her with nothing.

Now, face-to-face, emotions run high. Situations are reversed. Revenge and guilt are nearly overwhelming.

Will Cooper win the wager and walk away with Miles's helicopter? Or did Mile's carefully orchestrated setup pay off?

I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review, so here it is. I loved this series. Miles made a bet with his three best friends that they would all find love on Sanctuary Island before his wedding. Two have lost the bet and now it is Cooper's turn. Cooper Haynes has only loved one girl, Vivian Banks. But when she left him at the courthouse holding the marriage license without a word, his heart was broken forever. Or so he though. Vivian is one of the bridesmaids and Miles did not tell Cooper she would be there. When he saw her walking down aisle, he was frozen to the spot. And all he wanted was one night with her and leave her hurting the next morning, the way she hurt him. Can he walk away? Will Vivian tell him why she she left him? Will Cooper understand what happened to her since he last saw her 10 years ago? Will Cooper win the bet or will he lose his heart? This series is perfect. Check out The Billionaire Bachelors series and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. I love Lily Everett's writing style and I have added the Sanctuary Island series and Billionaire Brothers series to my (TBR To Be Read) list.

I've enjoyed all three books from The Billionaire Bachelors series and I think Lantern Lake might be my favorite :)

Cooper's and Vivian's story was touching and very emotional.
Vivian is the woman who broke Cooper's heart all those years ago and to this day she's still the only woman he's truly loved.
How does he handle his feelings when he see's her again at his friends wedding and is it fate that they meet up again after all this time?

I really enjoyed their story, maybe it's because they already shared a history I found their love more believable.
I found myself hoping they could work through the pain they both caused each other and then leaving it behind them to start afresh as there was no denying their hearts still belonged to one another.

If you're looking for a quick romantic read I suggest you pick up The Billionaire Bachelors series.
They're single, they’re rich, and now these three billionaire bachelors are heading to Sanctuary Island to attend their friend Miles’ wedding.

This novella was the final installment of the Billionaire Bachelors trilogy by Lily Everett and I think my favorite of the three. When Miles first laid out the bet for his helicopter with his three friends, this is the one relationship he knew could either really go well or really go poorly. Cooper and Vivian were engaged in college. In fact, Cooper was waiting at the Justice of Peace when Vivian disappeared from his life. Neither one has ever gotten over the other. Vivian married according to her parents wishes and then tried to rebuild her life. Cooper on the other hand never let go of the anger and just let it fester. He plans on simply getting his revenge on Vivian and then walking away as she did without ever finding out the full story. But walking away may not be as easy as Cooper envisioned nor is revenge as sweet as he thought it would be.
This was a great novella and a great conclusion to the trilogy. I would definitely look for more from Everett and the interesting characters she has created on Sanctuary Island.

I've loved watching each of the billionaire bachelors fall in love. I wondered as I read the first 2, who Cooper might meet on island, and loved that Miles and Greta had Vivian, who happens to be Cooper's one and only love, be in the wedding. While Cooper's idea of revenge seemed harsh, even knowing Vivian had left him with no notice, I loved how quickly it backfired on him.

I loved the connection between Cooper and Vivian from the moment they saw one another again. I knew their history could be a major stumbling block to getting back together. Cooper was still angry at Vivian when they first met again, and she was totally and completely eaten up with guilt. Watching them build a new and stronger relationship was both sweet and painful as Vivian revealed what had gone on while they were apart.

I really loved all 3 of the billionaire bachelors and especially loved watching them fall head over heels in love. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Sanctuary Island very soon.

Well we have reached the end of the second trilogy in this spinoff of the Billionaire Brothers/Bachelors.

As with the others the main theme was that people come to Sanctuary Island and magically find the love of their lives. While that may sound a bit cheesy on the surface the stories are anything but, they are light hearted fantasy in many ways but they are great comfort reading and should leave you happy.

This last installment details Cooper and Vivian, a "left him at the altar" type plot with a few twists. It was very fulfilling and I enjoyed it but the only reason it did not get the 5 Star treatment was because the ending for this last book was a bit too short IMHO, it needed a couple more pages to kind of close a few things (like the bet) but while it could have been longer to make me enjoy it more, it was far from a disappointment.

Highly recommended and the only caveats would be to read both trilogies in order to get maximum enjoyment :)

Lantern Lake is the third book in the trilogy of the Bachelor Billionaires onSanctuary Island. I have read the other two in this series as well as all the books and novellas about Sanctuary Island. I am a HUGE fan, and this novella was just one more reason. I loved this novella! I enjoyed the characters and how they found their way back to each other. There was heart and emotion and enough of the continuing story of Miles and Greta's wedding to understand how these novellas are connected. All are,of course, standalones, but I do think it helps to read the first two books in this trilogy. I have really enjoyed this little series and am so looking forward to the next full length standalone Sanctuary Island related book coming out in February.

This has been a wonderful series. The characters are so much more than just your average billionaires. This finish to the series wraps everything up very nicely and the whole series feels very complete. This installment is different because the 2 main characters had a previous relationship. That added a whole new dimension to it. The characters had to work through the past before they could move forward. I loved the ups and downs. The relationship was reality based, showing that everything is not wine and roses but that two people that care about each other and want it bad enough can work through everything else. The writing was smooth and clean and I can't wait to read more from this author.

This trilogy has been a really fun read for me - not serious and it was nice to read about happy billionaires for a change. Lantern Lake was similar to the others; you know the outcome of the book before you start, but it was a read that held my attention. I think what I've liked best about this and the other books, is that the characters were real human beings with real troubles.Vivian certainly had a few - and Cooper fell for her all over again! I've also loved the setting. Who doesn't love an island? Great read. I'll be reading more by this author.

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martins Press for giving me the chance to read and review this book.

Lantern Lake is a wonderful novella that tells the story of Cooper and Vivian. When they meet at Mile's wedding, Cooper is very bitter over the broken heart Vivian left him with ten years ago. He makes a plan to exact revenge on her, but soon the magic of Sanctuary Island has him re-evaluating his plans. Vivian hasn't had the happy, carefree life that Cooper assumes, and is harboring secrets about her past. Cooper and Vivian are both wonderful, sympathetic characters, and I enjoyed watching them rekindle their relationship. This was a fantastic addition to The Billionaire Bachelors.

Ah, the one that got away. Always an interesting premise to explore. We all have that one that dominates our “what if” scenarios and with Cooper and Vivian, they are “it”. A shared painful past that still affect their lives now. This book gives a good exploration of Cooper and Vivian’s growth because of and despite the romantic hurdles thrown their way. Love doesn’t always have impeccable timing but always seem to find its way as in this story. Good read

This is by far my favorite story in this series. I like "Done Wrong' stories and this one really touched me. I guess it's because I used to hold grudges forever. I always said "I don't get mad-I get even"! I am so glad I outgrew that. I love/hate feeling bad for Cooper and Vivian. I always feel for both characters. I seldom just pick one. This felt like a shorter read than the others but deeper as well. I had to read to the end to get to the problem and then decide who would go first to fix it. I so love the ending. I hope whoever else reads this series enjoys it as much as I did!

This is the third installment of the sanctuary island billionaire bachelor series. I liked this one best out of all of them. Cooper and Vivian had the best chemistry, and the story did a better job than the previous two. Cooper had been engaged to Vivian ten years before but she jilted him at the altar. Where best to see her again but at his best friends wedding. It was nice to see the sparks fly of these two as they became reacquainted again. Thanks netgalley for a good read in exchange for an honest review.

A bet connects the three stories in this trilogy. The premise has been done before, but Lily Everett provides a fresh take on it and I thoroughly enjoyed her work. Ms. Everett has created a wonderful world an populated it with wonderfully diverse engaging characters. Her writing voice seems to be happy and I appreciated that. It was a light easy read, and it almost felt too short. Lantern Lake is a wonderful second chance at love story. I am looking forward to the next installment.

Cooper and Vivian were hopelessly in love a decade ago.... until Vivian stood Cooper up the day they were going to be married by the JP. He hasn't seen her since.....until a wedding where they were partners! His main goal was to plot out revenge and crush her heart with a one night stand. As hopeless romance tales go...this did not happen; in fact, Viv and Cooper got to know each other again and got their second chance! Great short story -- the whole Sancuary Island series is a winner!

hard to imagine, because I really liked the other 2, but this one was my favorite.

It was a little bit different from the first 2 books, because in those the main characters met during the book.
In this one Cooper and Vivian had a previously unsuccessful relationship, which adds in a whole new dynamic.

Like the others the story was very cute, the characters are likable and the story moves along at a good pace.

With engaging characters and riveting stories, Everett has delivered a superb series with “The Billionaire Bachelors”. And in the finale, Lantern Lake, readers are given an uplifting story about learning to let go and moving forward to something better.
