The pace of the story was quite good, it wasn't too slow or too fast. The relationship between Draco and Hermione was also great! I don't usually enjoy the I'm-gonna-breakup-with-you-because-you-deserve-better chapters so I was EXTREMELY happy when I didn't have to go through that shit here.
Charlie was cute although I guess I just wasn't that bothered because Hermione was not going to get back with him >.> Was refreshing to read about a previous Charlie/Hermione relationship instead of the typical just Ron/Hermione!!
The blackmailer wasn't really that surprising but the plot twists here were definitely good and not too predictable. An overall great read!
Hits all the best aspects of the genre. Secret!relationship, brittle, postwar!Draco, with a warm, sunshine filled Hermione. The mystery is wonderful, although it spins off a bit into questionable territory after the blackmailer is discovered. Hermione is at her best as a researcher, and you get to see her mind get elastic which is wonderful.
