*3.5

Ok I promise this is my last one for the week. I swear it 😭. There are so many books I need to finish this month, so this will be my last Dramione fanfic until my Christmas break (December 23rd).

The last 30? pages saved it, so 3* in the end.
I loved the premise of Draco and Hermione being linked emotionally and trying to find cure how to sever it. I liked the memories that they relieved and that helped them to get to know each other.
But somehow I couldnt channel on the feelings that the story gave and the middle part was boring enough for me to consider droping it. :/ I dont mean that it was badly written, because it wasnt, it just didnt manage to keep my attention and entertain me on passable level. But then when Draco reliazed his feelings and was deciding what to do was the part where they were kinda sweet to each other and I liked it. As I said like the last 30-40 pages were giving me joy again.
The ending felt kind of abrupt, although it was appropriate at the same time. I would love the ending scene, if there was epilogue, but unfortunately this time it wasnt there.

It was good, but the execution didnt cause the special chemistry between me and the story which would make me feel great reading it.

During their 7th Year in Hogwarts, the Gryffindors and Slytherins have to brew a complex potion that will allow for the two drinkers to experience eachothers emotions for a few minutes. It's very hard to brew and only a few people in history managed to brew it correctly.
Fortunately for Hermione, her potions partner is Malfoy who no matter how much they hate eachother, she knows that she can count on him to do a good job.
Unfortunately for both of them, an accident accurs when she is touches him by mistake. Now they are bond for forever with no information on how to undo it.

This was a very fast read and the characters stayed pretty true to the original characters but overall there wasn't really anything happening in the story. From the moment Draco and Hermione were linked, the only thing that was happening was them searching from a way to break the link.
There were flashbacks in which we saw some of the things Draco had to endure from his father and how he came to be how he is but it didn't delve on that.

The ending was also very anticlimactic.
They both realized that they had feelings for eachother, found out that there isn't any really cure, decided that they couldn't work and then decded to screw it all and just go for it.
That's how it ended. With them holding hands and entering the Great Hall.
