A very well written short story, with some good character exposition, that ties Nightbringer into Warriors of Ultramar

Nothing earth-shattering. Table-setting for WARRIORS OF ULTRAMAR. Some fun zero-G tyranid combat, and a nice refresher for the characters of Fourth Company (after a hiatus since reading NIGHTBRINGER)

An excellent read, and perfect structure for a short story. For someone who isn't all that familiar with the goings on of the 40k universe Graham McNeill makes it easy to jump in and enjoy to the fullest. Everything gets its own type of introduction, even if it's just enough to where you know the basics -- I really appreciate that as a reader who didn't stem from the gaming world.

Onto the next!
