I did enjoy this early Warhammer 40k short story. We follow our protagonist Meh'Lindi, an assassin of the Callidus temple, on her mission to infiltrate a Genestealer cult.

I thought the surgical modification was very interesting, though the second half of the story did not interest me as much as I thought it would. I still recommend this story for the first half, and because we don't have many 40k stories about the assassins.

Very excited to start Ian Watson's Inquisiton War Trilogy soon, and read more about Meh'Lindi, and the crazy portrayal of early Warhammer 40k.

Very Interesting prequel tale to the Inquisition War. With just a few paragraphs, you get a sense of what brutal life is like in Warhammer 40k universe.

One of the very earliest entries into what would become the Black Library. This holds up extremely well in terms of both lore and quality of writing. A nailed on 40k classic.

Так вот откуда взялась история про ассассина притворившегося генокрадом. Тогда они ещё ездили на лимузинах.
