I thought thought volume was much better than the first. It was a good choice to focus on 5 characters instead of the full 8 from the previous book. Rachel’s character and background were explored deeper and she proves a great center piece for the story.

Sad this series didn’t continue. I felt like it hit its stride right at the ends.

Not as good as the original but still very entertaining. The new authors decided to give some background information intertwined into the story line on a few of the brothers and Rachel Kai. If you liked the first one, you'll enjoy this continuation.

And yes, Ronald Wipes, wannabe pimp extraordinaire with the soul of a dragon, is back.

Not as good as Vol 1. But that could just be my Garth Ennis bias talking.
