Each section has 3 pieces of information about pirates, a few paragraphs each. The next page reveals which one was a myth, why, and what the truth is. The front matter gives some tips for identifying fake information such as absolutes and a lack of details. Historic images are included throughout.

Factual book about pirates that dispels some famous myths. Really enjoyed everything I learned and I think my son did too. Overall, would rate 3/5 stars ⭐️ and would recommend if you have a kid ages 5 and up interested in pirates.
