Fans of mystery novels, true crime, and forensic dramas like CSI, will not be able to put down this entertaining and suspenseful page-turner.
I debated and debated about whether to give this 3 or 4 stars.... so I compromise with a 3.5 stars (though we can't rate it that way!). I respect Henry Lee to the utmost. He truly has a passion for forensics and a brilliant mind to go with it. So when I read the book after hearing him speak one year, I was slightly disappointed.... but only because his writing style wasn't what I was used to in a writer. If one can overlook that - English is his second language after all - then the story is great. For one who has a passion for forensics, it was exactly the types of things I wanted to read unlike many of these other crime drama novels - that while great - just don't get to the heart of what I like in solving a crime.
I recommended this book to everyone who wants to follow the thinking of a brilliant forensic scientist. It's one of those books with action, suspense, murder and mystery that makes you stay up late reading because you want to know how it ends.
