A Simple Proposition

Rate this book
Description: Pam, the main character, is married to Steve, who decides to confess his sex fantasies to her. Although neither of them are sure that they should begin to carry out these fantasies, they do. Pam finds that instead of just pleasing her husband by performing for him, she begins to find the kinky sex her husband wants her to have with other men beginning to turn her on, too. After each round of playing out a sex fantasy, both Pam and Steve proceed to greater levels. The doubts both have about carrying out these higher levels of Pam’s intimacy with other men contributes to a sense of anticipation for the reader who will be anxious to see what happens next. The story builds slowly leading to anticipation and wondering about the next chapter in the story. Although written primarily for women, men who are into sex fantasies will also enjoy the book.

The premise of this book sounded good, however after 5 chapters I had to put it down. The hero and herione were two of the most insipid characters I've come across in a book. The dialogue was childish and basically consisted of the heroine's waffling and the hero acting as though he had no clue what he wanted. I do not recommend this book.

For me, this book was fast paced and interesting. I thought it could've been longer, the characters more developed and explored a little deeper and the ending been written differently... still, I enjoyed it. Would love for a part 2 though, hint, hint.

I really enjoyed this book. It steps up the wife sharing gradually and the husband experiences really angst. There seemed to be a sequel on the way but I can't find it. That seems a shame. Still worth the read as a lone standing book.
