Alternate Reality Romance, Part of the Divinity Universe
Divinity Healers Book Two

In a world obsessed with medical advancement, Dr. Gerard Fauchet longs for something more. When he’s assigned as the liaison to an off-plane dignitary, he never imagined she’d be so stunningly beautiful, or so damned frustrating. One second she’s kissing him, the next she’s pretending nothing is between them. The passion is scorching, everything he ever dreamed of having with a woman. He’ll make her admit she wants him—or die trying.
Dr. Cecilia Markos is keenly aware that she’s been shoved through a portal to an alternate reality for one reason—to bring home medical advancements for the betterment of her people.

Unfortunately, she only has two months to learn a world’s complete medical knowledgebase. It’s an impossible task made even more so by the distractingly handsome Gerard who she can’t seem to keep her hands or her mind off of.

As the erotic clash heats up between Gerard and Cecilia, the clock is ticking, and the time for seduction is running out.

Michelle M Pillow's imagination knows no bounds and me as a listener am very thankful for that. Not to mention that Rebecca Cook is one of my favorite narrators.

This is the 2nd audiobook in the Divinity Healers trilogy Seducing Cecilia. The timeline for this audiobook is 1/2 to 3/4 into the first audiobook Ariella's Keeper.

Dr. Cecilia from the New Order Society reality & Dr. Gerard from the "sterilized medical" reality (I have no idea how to spell the reality name. Sorry.) are the stars in this story.

First off, the New Order Society sounds horrible. You need written consent between to people for everything....even before you can do something so simple as giving someone a kiss. I don't even think you can hold hands. Plus, as children they are tattooed with a number on their foot and microchiped. The microchip isn't just for location tracking, it tracks Every aspect of their lives, even as adults. The only exception is Cecilia's assistant during the medical research mission. Her body chemistry shorts out the microchips. As such she breaks the rules/laws multiple times. I won't tell you which ones so you have to listen to find out but it's a doozie.

Dr. Gerard is to be the guide for Dr. Cecilia and her assistant but he isn't too thrilled at the prospect but he knows to be professional. That is until he sees Dr. Cecilia for the first time. He was totally and completely awestruck and his professionalism doesn't last long. In fact, it only lasts until he gets her alone outside the hospital. He's a fast mover. Cecilia being where she's from is so rigid and use to consent forms and "anti-chaos" that she eventually slaps him. She is attracted to him she just doesn't know about his reality rules & hers are so ingrained in her. That all changes for Cecilia about halfway through the transport ride when she wakes too early. She panics a bit and forces Gerard awake. This causes him to grumble about the remaining 2 hour ride. Really?? Yep, 2 hours. What a grump right? Well, Cecilia does a great job of taking his mind off of the remaining ride. (wink wink). She actually said it must have been his pheromones, hurting his feelings a bit, and wants them to be only professional when they arrive at the research center. When Gerard honors her wishes, her feelings get hurt and she kinda acts like a brat. I literally wanted to smack the back of her head.

Once at the research center, Cecilia is very surprised to find that nature is completely blocked out by walls and a dome. The researchers even wear bio hazard suits when outside the wall to collect specimens from the forest. Talk about overkill. This reality is almost as constricting as the New Order Society reality. Cecilia and her assistant are suppose to be there for 2 months to find a new medical advancement for her reality however, it seems they speak the same language but don't write the same language. This causes the process to go very slowly to only find out she found the cure for........(it's too funny to spoil. Listen to the audiobook to find out.) At the end of the first month we find out that Cecilia hasn't even left the 3 places in the center she was shown on the 1st day. The place is huge but she just didn't know if she was allowed to explore and experience her environment. That reality of hers really did a number on her. Fun fact: Cecilia did loosen up around Gerard and in private, they didn't stay professional very long. 😉
But she still can't wait to get home back to her regular life.

In enters the "Medical Supreme," and his mystery illness which is unheard of in the medical reality. Due to this he mandates that the portal be closed indefinitely. The New Order Society anti-chaos mindset are not having that and demands the women return in 2 weeks. This unfortunately turns into a political tug of war with the women and ends up having an effect.....(I won't say but it does end in a happy tearful twist!)

Oh, and I want a transport so bad. I mean type in coordinates get spritzed with sleeping gas and wake up at your destination. Who wouldn't want one.

This is a wonderful sequel to Ariella's Keeper with another interesting reality. This is definitely 10 star worthy. I highly recommend this audiobook so.....you are advised to buy with one click right away.

The second installment of the Divinity Healers series is a fast-pace and steamy read. Cecilia comes from another place where they are very strict and contracts must be drawn up prior to dating. Not so much in Gerard’s world. While Cecilia is working she must fight the temptation that come with Gerard and must concentrate on something that would help her planet. It was so much fun reading how they avoid each other but also have that wanting for each other. Steamy scenes, and the plot was great. It’s such a fast read. The narrator did a wonderful job keeping me enthralled.

Book Two of Divinity Healers

Cecilia is from a very strict, ordered dimension. Everyone lives to fight against "chaos". Everyone has a path and lateral thinking is frowned upon.

Gerard's world believes medicine is key to everything. Whilst some of their other beliefs may be different they share a structures world as this medical dimension controls everything with medication, from coughs and sniffles to arousal!!!

Cecilia thinks Gerard is the epitome of chaos in human form but she can't deny their chemistry. Whilst the temporary nature of her visit impedes a relationship she concedes to having a fling whilst on his world. What will happen when a virus mutates and affects Cecilias stay on the world? Will they be able to stay together and not inflame her worlds anti chaos rules???

Fabulous sensual characters both buttoned up by their constrained, regulated worlds. Fantastic!!!!

Ugh… Sci-Fi Erotica

Audiobook Review:
In the not-so-recent past, I have really enjoyed books by this author. I absolutely adore the Space Lords series and the Galaxy Alien Mail-Order Bride series. Before getting the first three audiobooks of this series, I had hoped I would enjoy this one as much as I had the others. I especially thought I would like them because of their medical aspect, as I am a registered nurse. However, two books in now, I am not liking this series at all. It reads more like sci-fi erotica than an actual romance. There's not much story to them, including that all-important concept of conflict…and actual romance. Instead, the story alternates between intimate scenes and either the hero or the heroine (usually the heroine) regretting that action. That's pretty much all this book is. No sense of rising action, plot climax (yes, of the other kind!), and denouement. I also didn't like the book’s level of crudeness, From blue words to the descriptions of what happens to a turned-on body. Ummm, yeah, ick. While I enjoy steamy books, I don't like ones with a certain ick factor, which this one has for me, as did the previous one of the series, Ariella’s Keeper. Not vibing with the narrator either; she voices the males in this series (so far) with this odd, deep, semi-British affectation that is more creepy than swoony or $exy. If you like the idea of sci-fi erotica with little plot and no conflict, you may enjoy this better than I did.

I received a promo code for this audiobook, but that did not affect my review.

This is the second book in the Divinity Healers Series, an alternate reality romance, part of the Divinity Universe. This is an interesting second installment in the Series. Dr Cecilia Markos and Dr Gerard Fauchet are great characters. Dr. Cecilia is from a very strict, ordered dimension. Everyone lives to fight against "chaos". Everyone has a path and lateral thinking is frowned upon. Whereas Dr. Gerard world believes medicine is key to everything. Some of their other beliefs may be different they share a structures world as this medical dimension controls everything with medication, from coughs and sniffles to arousal. Gerard is a little jealous of his friend Sebastjan because he found the love of his life in Ariella and he wants that for himself. So when he is assigned to Dr. Cecilia he doesn’t really mind especially when he sees her and is instantly attracted to her. Cecilia thinks Gerard is the epitome of chaos in human form but she can't deny their chemistry. She knows that her assignment is only temporary but she still ends up conceding to having a fling while she is staying on his world. What will happen when a virus mutates and affects Cecilias stay on the world? Will they be able to stay together and not inflame her worlds anti chaos rules? I received this as an ARC for my honest opinion and I honestly loved it. I would definitely recommend that you read book.

This is a review for the Audible version.
Gerard isn't jealous of his friend, he just wants other things in life instead of being a doctor in his plane. He'd rather explore all the other planes. To have some adventure and excitement.
When he first sees Cecillia, he knows he's as attracted to her as she is to him. That's why he had to kiss her. But the "cool" Dr. may be hard to heat up but when she gets going. . . He's determined to see her passions unraveled, unhinged just for him!
Cecillia isn't used to the chaos Gerard ignites in her and it's at their first meeting! In her plane, such actions aren't done. Kissing, touching and without a consent agreement?! She only responded because. . .she's intrigued by him. (yeah right) But she can't allow it to go any further. Or can she?
They both know it will only be a short time together but try as she might, the pull is too strong and passionate chaos WILL ensue.
I liked both of the MC's and the narration was done very well. I LOVE a bold man and Gerard has it in spades.
Cecillia is unsure of herself, feeling like she's out of her element but she never gives up and I liked that about her.
Yes, I recommend you give this a listen.

Irresistible Desires . . .

Dr Gerard Fauchet and Dr Cecilia Markos come from two drastically different worlds. Gerard is given liaison responsibility to work with Cecilia who comes from a parallel universe. They look at medical advancements in a different way as dictated by their cultures. But Gerard is entranced by the beautiful woman he meets and has his mind set on seducing her into wanting him as he wants her. Cecilia’s sole mission is to grasp every medical advancement she can identify that would make her people prosper. But time is short for the magnitude of this task. And to make it more difficult, she has the added distraction of the handsome doctor luring her closer and closer to giving herself fully to him. Will their time run out before they each get what they want the most?

The narrator for the audiobook version is Rebecca Cook. She does an excellent job with the voices to personalize the story and make it easy for the listener to get an accurate impression of what each character is like, bringing them to life for the listener. It helps to set the mood, familiarize us with the characters, and is a pleasant way to “read” and enjoy the story.

Gerard, a doctor, wants something more than his sterile world. When Cecilia comes along from another dimension, there's an attraction instantly. They give into their desires but try to keep them secret. When an outbreak happens, Cecilia is sent home leaving her love behind, but Gerard is determined not to let Cecilia slip through his fingers and follows her home. This book is packed full of drama and steam. Cecilia and Gerard attraction is off the charts and has you sitting on the edge of your seat to find out if they'll finally get to be togther. I also glad this book is in audio. I love the narrator's reading voice as she portrays the characters and makes them come to life.

This is the second installment in this series and to an extent is a continuation of the the story before but concentrates on Dr. Cecilia Markos and Dr. Gerards relationship. They come from different worlds with very different focuses but find themselves in difficult spot when they fall for each other. Dr. Gerard's world is focused on health and medicine and Dr. Cecilia's world is very rigidly controlled to prevent anything resembling chaos. When a medical emergency comes to light on Dr. Gerard Fauchet's world will these two be torn apart by the politics of their different worlds or can a compromise be made so that they can be together.

I read this story way back in 2016 and didn't remember it too well so when I was offered the chance to listen to it I took it. I liked the narration by Rebecca Cook who did an excellent job bringing the characters and the story to life; The story is about Cecilia and Gerald, two very different people who just seem to work despite their differences.

Cecilia comes from a place where chaos is illegal and control, order and logic are the only acceptable behaviours. Whilst Gerard a doctor may be charming he does have a wicked smile and is a bit of a devil, he wants Cecilia to embrace whatever type of relationship they can, even if it's not logical.

The story while being tied to the previous book in some ways can be listened to as a standalone.

I enjoyed this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Gerard and Cecilia. He was lonely and longed for his own match. Becoming even more clear talking with Sebastjan and Ariella from the first book. Good chemistry between him and Cecilia, but she was only there temporarily and then she'd be back in her own world, so why should she risk her heart? Not to mention the daunting task of her mission.

I listened to this in audiobook narrated by Rebecca Cook. I thought she did a great job bringing these characters to life. I've listened to her work before in book one and in Michelle's other series and really enjoyed it. She's one of the few female narrators who's male voices I enjoy.

Seducing Cecilia is the second book in the series. Dr. Gerard Fauchet is jealous of his best friend, Sebastjan for finding love. Unfortunately, there isn't a woman that Gerard is interested in his world.

When Dr. Cecilia Markos came across dimension to obtain medical information, Gerard wondered if there was something there between Cecilia and him. After all, Cecilia was there for only two months.

Cecilia was anti-chaos. Everything in her world requires a written consent when interacting with another person. Gerard was chaos to her. For his sterile world, Gerard was chaos to her.

When the Medical Supreme took ill, Cecilia has to chose of whether to stay in Gerard's sterile world or leave. As for Gerard, it was a choice of no-choice. The Medical Supreme will never allow Gerard to cross dimension since Gerard is a walking medical encyclopedia to any dimensional worlds. That knowledge cannot be freely passed on without working for it.

Talk about two star-crossed lovers theme. This story is it, literally. The second book does refer to the story line of the first book. Even though the second book can stand by itself, readers/listeners will want to see what happened in the first book to get a better understanding of how the first and second book connect and weaves both story line together.

The narrator, Rebecca Cook did a good job. I'm still on the fence if she will be one of the narrators I would follow.

I was given this book by the author. I have decided to voluntary write an unbiased review for this book. I was not compensated or influenced in any way in writing this review.

"The only way to cure logic is by doing something illogical.”

Cecilia comes from a plane where logic, control and order rule. Chaos is effectively illegal.

Gerard is a doctor with a wicked smile, a charming demeanor, and just a bit of a devil in him... and he wants to see Cecilia embrace whatever it is that's between them, even if it is just a fling.

This done in one story stands well on its own, while being tied tied to the previous book in a few ways. I love the exploration of how fear can lead to excessive precautions, and the blurring if the line between health/medicine and treating everything outside set parts as a symptom in need of treatment or medication.

Michelle M Pillow has created such a unique and wonderful world! A short novella which continued parts of the story started in “Ariella’s Keeper” (though the books can be read as stand alone). The sparks fly between Cecilia and Gerard but they are from different worlds and Cecilia will have to return home eventually! Can they live without each other? Passion, spontaneity and lots of sparks between these two! This was a joy to read! Looking forward to the next instalment - “Linnea’s Arrangement”!

Alternate realities are a thing in these books and Cecilia is freaking out when she’s asked to travel to one for research. She’s pretty sure she’s ready for the challenge but what she isn’t ready for is the animal attraction to one Dr. Fauchet and no laws to stop her from acting on those feelings. A fun love story about cross signals and different worlds that seem impossible to make work. This is a beach read with a lot of heat and a story line that will
Keep you entertained. The narrator was okay to listen to.

Love the twist at the end

Dr. Gerard Fauchet and Dr. Cecilia Markos were a great continuation of this series. Their interaction is funny and engaging. The clash of their planet’s beliefs and the fight they both give to deny their attraction leads to great moments. The outbreak after all this time has locked down the planet. Will Gerard break down Cecilia’s last protective wall? Will Cecilia stay? Where can they find their future?.

Gerald comes from a plane where everyone is a doctor. They are advanced beyond other planes, and invite visitors to come and learn from them. Society is casual.
Cecilia comes from a plane that is strictly regimented and avoids “chaos” at all costs.
When the two are together Gerald’s presence causes all kinds of chaos within Cecilia.

This was a good story, which I enjoyed listening to. I thought it was interesting using different planes for their worlds that just in space. The narration was well done.

Seducing Cecilia Book 2 of Divinity Healers by Michelle M. Pillow is another great story in this series. I love the parallel between the two doctors from two different portal worlds, the romance divine, the worldbuilding so intricate and very well-written. I really enjoy these well written stories by Michelle. This series about worlds from the other side of the portal are intriguing, with strong women and hunky men, the need for love and acceptance are the same worlds over. It is easy to be a part of her stories and become a community member. Feel good, happy stories that leave me wanting the next installment. I have both the ebook and the Audible book. Recommended. Sexual content.

This a fast paced, steamy and fun read. Set in an alternate reality, Cecilia comes from a world where any form of chaos is not tolerated! As a sort of exchange program, she travels to an alternate dimension in the hopes of bringing new medical advances back to her people. Great characters, fun quick story and great audio narration.

Gerard is a doctor and researcher in a dimension obsessed with health, disease, and a sterile environment. Cecelia has come to this dimension to gain medical knowledge. She is a doctor in a dimension obsesses with order and conformity. There is a super attraction between these two. A medical emergency strikes that may separate them for good. There must be a solution. This is a fast-moving story with an introduction to a new dimension, lots of drama, and a steamy romance. The narration by Rebecca Cook brings the characters and their story to life.

“I Will Wait For You Forever”

Cecilia has left her home plane of 187 to visit 303 in order to learn more about their medical advancements. Gerard is smitten by Cecilia from first glance - but how will he get her to agree to a liaison her plane deems chaotic and illegal? I loved their back and forth, tug and pull, between their feelings and propriety. Rebecca Cook did a fantastic job giving Cecilia and Gerard voices - this story felt rich and entertaining.

She’s out of her element - he wants to show her how it’s done. When Gerard and Cecelia come together their spark is instantaneous. They know time is limited. A fun story about two people from different worlds with a real attraction. They’re ups and downs and how they find a way to meet in the middle. Both characters are surprised by what they could have, if only they can find the way. I enjoyed the story that stands alone although it’s set in the “Divinity” world.

I like this series, I guess cause I like the characters so much. I liked how Gerard was so bolding in the transport. He really loosened Cecilia up. The ending was both sad and a moment of joy, I enjoyed it. The steam in this book was hot, hot, hot, a pure panty drencher. Listening to this audiobook the time just flew by. This audiobook was short, sweet and simple. I like all of Michelle's book, they are books you can relax into.

Loved the narration of Rebecca Cook

Gerard loves and admires his friend who has a life and love of a wife. As a doctor he is an healer and wants to explore other planes to help heal. He is paired with Dr Cecilia and lets say hot flames and sparks fly with these two.

Will Gerard find what he craves and will Cecilia learn to let go and enjoy what Gerard can give her.

Michelle M. Pillow writes stories that invite you in. I love her characters that come to life between the pages. I enjoyed reading the book; I enjoy the alternate reality trope. I find it interesting to explore the different realities and how they differ. I honestly was hoping that the series would contune to follow the main characters of book one. However, each book follows a different couple so they can be read out of order as standalones.
I liked the main characters, and I thought that the story was fun. I was just expecting it to follow Sebastian and Ariella from book one based on the ending.
This book is more for 18+ readers as there is some content that may not be suitable for some readers.

Dr Gerard Fauchet, longs for something more, especially as he watches his best friend enjoying a new marriage with a beautiful wife. When he is paired with a visiting liaison Dr Cecilia Markos, sparks begin to fly. When chaos and order collides our get an unexpected love.
This is the middle of a series of three books. They don’t have to be listened to in order but it does help.
