In Rendezvous Key, a beautiful private island in Key West is the backdrop for a double murder. Two people are killed inside a sauna, and there are no witnesses to testify to what happened and who may be responsible. A very young, very handsome police lieutenant sets out to solve the mystery. Another twist presents itself, though, as he meets a very luscious blonde who he immediately falls head over heels in love with at first sight only to find out she is the murdered woman’s best friend. She was also a lover of the murdered man. Now he has a dilemma for he can’t really become involved with her for she may be a suspect. Does he become involved with her or not?

About the author

I have always been and always will be a storyteller. Since childhood, I have dreamed of becoming an author. Now, as I see my stories in print, my dream has become my reality.

Since I was eight years old, mysteries have been my passion, especially murder mysteries. So much so, that after working as a nurse for twenty years, I became a Private Investigator. I worked in close contact with police officers and detectives on several closed-case files with amazing results.

I currently reside in Florida with my husband. I have two children, five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. I am working on the Masson Murder Series. There are several other books before the Masson Murder Series.

Enjoy two books for the price of one in the combination murder mystery/romance novel Rendezvous Key by Laura Burke. Can love and murder mix? When a handsome police lieutenant finds himself attracted to a beautiful murder suspect, the line between duty and love becomes blurred. The peaceful serenity of a private island in the Florida Keys can't cover up a grisly double murder or quell the flames of a burning heart. Rendezvous Key draws readers into the tangled web of murder, duty, and forbidden romance with a plot twist no one will see coming. The compelling characters make this book an excellent read.
