Nope. I usually love insta everything. But this one was so shallow. Such "on the surface" story. I'm not sure if there was anything else between them except for lust.

This was really good.
More novella length, depth, and speed than full length, but I totally didn’t mind.
The instalove was possessive and sweet.
The smut was rough and hard and had some really hot dirty talk.
I really enjoyed it.
I’ll be looking into more from this author for sure.

Okay, so this was an amazing start to a new MC series by Elyse Kelly! Emma is on the run from her abusive ex fiancé, and she decides to start over in a new place where she hopes he’ll never find her. That’s where she meets Sentinel - a member of the Satan’s Disciples MC who offers her a job and is determined to break down her walls. I loved Sentinel and Emma’s love story, because even though this book is on the shorter side, their relationship was well developed. Sentinel was extremely protective of Emma, and he definitely gives off “touch her and die” vibes. And Emma! She’s been through so much, but she’s very strong, which I can respect. I’m excited to see what happens next in this series!

Sentinel is a fast-paced, action-packed, angsty, smutty motorcycle club romance.
Sentinel or Gabe as he asks Emma to call him is the VP of the Satan’s Disciples MC and he is everything you could want in a book boyfriend! He’s a possessive, protective, commanding alpha and I couldn’t get enough of him!
I absolutely loved these two and the chemistry between them was fire! This quick and steamy read was the perfect beginning to a new series and I can’t wait for the other books in this series!

It’s really rare for me to rate a book with one star. I’m shocked this is overall a 4 star on Goodreads.
There’s literally no story.

Five Fantastic Stars
This book is for all MC lovers who can’t get enough of the alpha, protective biker that will do anything for the woman he loves. Emma comes to town looking for a new start and as soon as Sentinel lays eyes on her he knows she is the woman he wants and will stop at nothing to love and protect her. Sentinel is the VP for Satan’s Disciples MC and if the rest of the books in this series are going to be anything like him, I can’t wait to get my hands on them.
What a great fast paced steamy MC read that checked off all of my boxes to make this a definite five star read. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Running from ex to an instantly perfect possessive MC VP
Its a great fast-paced MC romance. Emma leaves her abusive ex and finds a random place to call home. She meets Sentinel and instantly these two fall hot and spicy forever. He helps her face her fears and deals with her ex. I loved the characters and the fast paced story. I look forward to reading more about Satan's Disciples MC.

This honestly wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. It honestly started out really strong and I absolutely loved Sentinel and Emma’s relationship, but I feel like we just didn’t get enough of them. Like the book was literally only like 195 pages long if that. I honestly liked the whole insta love aspect of the book and love how Sentinel was so posessive of Emma! Honestly might read the next one but who knows.

If you like possessive alphaholes that ride steel beasts, then you aren’t gonna wanna miss out on Elyse Kelly’s newest book!
Sentinel is the first of a new MC series that follows the Satan’s Disciples MC. Sentinel being the VP and the protector of the group, seems fitting he would fall for the new woman in town who is in desperate need of some protection, even if she doesn’t want to admit it to herself.
I could not put this book down. The writing and story are just so fast paced. And the characters you can’t help but fall for them.
I can’t wait to see what she brings us next in this series.

Happy Thanksgiving, I brought smut to the table and it’s not good!
Dialogue is implausible, scenario’s contrived, very little research was done into the themes and worlds depicted (domestic abuse, motorcycle gangs), descriptions are often cringy taking the hard right turn to dumb or distracting quickly.
It’s hard to forget how dumb it is for long enough to enjoy it. I only managed by going for the audiobook and the only good moment was the first sex scene because even the sex scenes get repetitive! My friend, how do you run out of metaphors let alone ideas less than three dozen pages in?
There is potential in this author but I’d pass on this book.

TERRIBLE!
This is the most amateur written, stupidly fast paced, completely unrealistic excuse for a romance novel I've ever read. You could read the entire book in an hour, or you skip the incredibly awful s*x scenes every other page (literally) and read the whole stupid story in less than 10 min. Seriously awful. No idea how this has good reviews. Atrocious.

I have nothing against insta-love, but this was a little much. Probably would have worked better if the book was longer and the characters more developed. The drama at the end was way too easy and simplistic; probably also due to being too short of a story.

Plot is good, but the writing is terrible.
I did enjoy it, sort of, but the writing is awful. I’m really disappointed as the books plot sounded really good. The beginning is really good as she manages to escape her abusive fiancé, and runs to the town where Sentinel and his Mc are. I thought it was going to be a good read, sadly it went fairly downhill after that.
Sentinel sees Emma as she’s moving in, and instantly knows she’s his. 🙄 The next time he sees her he offers her a job at their motorbike sales. They’re soon having endless s*x and madly in love. There’s a tiny bit of danger that blink and you’ll miss it, and that’s it. I’m not sure how this author managed to fill over 300 pages because there’s so much missing.
The mistakes and missing parts.
🔵 Endless spelling mistakes, and hard to tell who is speaking st times.
🔵 How old are Emma and Sentinel?
🔵The first time they have s*x he doesn’t use any protection. There’s absolutely no agreement about this. Is he clean? Is she? As her fiancé was cheating on her. Is she on any contraception? Absolutely no discussion about this!

🔵 The president of the Mc is like a ghost that you never see or hear about.
🔵 Who is the road captain, the enforcer etc?
I will read the next one as they’re okay and fill a gap in my reading.

This was my first book by Elyse Kelly. I liked Emma and Sentinel's story for the most part. It's on the shorter side than most other MC romances I've read and is more of a instalove than a slow burn. Nothing is wrong with that of course. Their personalities mesh well together and make them believable as a couple.
The plot does seem a little rushed to me. The chemistry between them is blazing from the beginning, but I wanted to see a more in depth connection built between them. It seemed like about 70% the plot focuses on the $ex they are constantly having (or talking about). I skipped several pages in each chapter because this. I like a good balance and was ready to get to the non-sexual action. The danger lurking in the shadows (the climax) happens in the last two to three chapters. Some of the $ex scenes could have been scaled back to build up more drama for the climax.
Other than the spacing of the plot, I did like the story. The secondary characters were good as well. I'd still recommend it.

Not only is she a stunner, there is something about the way she has moved in that strikes him a bit strange. Therefore he goes out of his way to get to know her and find out all about her.
Emma takes one look at Sentinel and thinks how gorgeous he is but know she does not want to get involved. Yet something about him makes her feel protected and comfortable and she soon tells him about her life. Emma and Sentinel have a steamy connection that smokes the pages.
When Emma's crazy ex finds her again. We see The Protector in action. I love how the MC comes together to help Emma in her time of need.

Sentinel is the first book in the Satan's Disciples MC series...and let me tell you, it is hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot! The story is a short and super-steamy OTT, instalove, MC, and protector romance. Emma is a young, smart, and sassy girl running from an abusive ex. Sentinel, real name Gabe, is a hot, dirty talking, sexy as hell alpha male and the VP for Satan's Disciples MC. One look at Emma, and he is hooked. Emma finds him attractive but is scared to get into a relationship. The chemistry between these two was enough to burn down all of Nevada...holy hotness. And when the ex shows up and Sentinel goes into protector mode, it is swoon central. After all the action and drama, we get a great HEA. I can't wait for the next book in the series! This was my first book by this author but will not be the last. I loved it!!!!.

Okay definitely gonna start off with this is different from the other books I have read by Elyse Kelly but that DOES NOT stop it from being absolutely amazing!!!
Poor Emma with what she's been through. But she has good instincts to tell someone is watching her. Let's talk about how interested Sentinel is in Emma without knowing who she is, and he is protective of her! Give me a Sentinel please!! Their connection together is everything and hot! Ohhhhhh he told her to call him by his actual name when they are together!!! I love how she stood up to the club bunny! Then all of his brothers helping protect her is amazing!!! Oh my gosh that ending!!! This story was hot, fast paced and everything!! I loved Emma and Sentinel and how HOT they are together!

Wow! An amazing start to this new series. Emma is on the run from an abusive fiancé and showed up in Sentinel’s town. From the moment he sees her unpacking her car in the middle of the night, he knows she’s meant to be his. Emma can’t believe the pull she feels toward Sentinel. She also feels safe and protected and knows that Sentinel and his MC brothers will do everything to protect her. An engaging story with some intrigue that keeps you reading to the end. Looking forward to seeing who Throttle falls for. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Oh my this book with definitely keep you on your toes. This book follows Sentinal and Emma. Emma is from California and decides to leave her abusive fiancé. In the beginning of there relationship he was great until he started treating her bad. Well Emma finally came to her senses and decided to change her name and leave.
Emma/sarah came to a small town in Nevada. When she got there she met sentinel and fell for him hard. He belongs to a Mc gang. Well they became super close and one night everything went to hell. Please read to found out what happens. Promise this book is hot and spicy.

Wow! I absolutely loved Sentinel and Emma's story!
This is an engaging and consuming story that captivated me from the beginning.
It's well written with amazing characters and a great storyline.
The sizzling chemistry between these two main characters was volcanic hot. This very possessive and protective alpha biker and his girl took me on an incredible journey until their happy ending and I loved every second of it.
This series promises to be super awesome and I can't wait to read Throttle's story.

Emma was running from her ex, a new town and a new beginning. What she didn't expect was a new man but that's what she got,Sentinel spotted her when she first got to town. She was someone he was going to know and he went about making that happen, lets just say she didn't know what hit her. He grabbed on and never let her go anyone who tried to take her was in big trouble, because for him it was love, not lust at first sight. GREAT START TO THE SERIES, LOVED IT!!😍

The fastest MC book ive ever read.
Sentinel (Gabe) sees what he wants and takes it, so when Emma comes into his view he instantly gets protective of her and wants to make her his. Instantly they get spicy and with their spice comes her past back to collect what he thinks is his. Her ex is some fancy pants country club man that wants his cake and to eat it too wanting a stepford wife and extra. He finds Emma attacking her possessions before going after her and Sentinel just wont have it, bringing the protective daddy bear down.
