This book has my favourite baby booty/shoe pattern that I have used so far. Alot of the patterns in here are very simple and clean, and the colours and fabrics used are very pleasing to the eye. Don't be intimidated by the cost of their recommended fabrics; I used baby/dk weight 100% acrylic yarns for many of the projects, and had wonderful results, plus clothes and items that don't have to be too gently handled.
I'm glad I rented this book from the library instead of buying it. I didn't find much that tickled my fancy. It's a little dated, so the items made from these patterns wouldn't sell well at craft fairs and my friends with children would probably not appreciate these items as much as items made from newer patterns.
The patterns were well written and easy to follow though.
I started this book knowing that I didn't have a baby anymore. But The ideas and patterns in there are so wonderful. But I am not as advanced as it is required. So maybe when I am a better crocheter I will be able to accomplish some of those tasks.
