I had to read this book because it is written by my auntie. I'll start right away by saying that this review is not coloured by that fact!

It is a truly inspiring story of how May and Tony (her husband) went about creating a nature reserve in the grounds of their country house hotel in Oxford. It must have been very hard work whilst running a successful hotel.

Anyone with an interest in wildlife and conservation will enjoy this book. Everything is described so well that one could almost be walking through the reserve with May.

They no longer own the hotel and speaking to May a few months ago, I was sad to learn that all her hard work and devotion is no longer there.
