Special interactive features of this newest book in the Legends series
This book was mainly a collection of legends about a worldwide flood. The author explained why the biblical account is the most accurate account of this event and then pointed out the common features of the various legends about a worldwide flood. Much of the book provided the legends from various cultures from all over the world. These were accompanied by drawings of the events as described in the legend, though I think these were recent illustrations rather than traditional drawings. Overall, I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in the topic.

My Review:
Everyone believes they know the story of Noah and the great flood that God descended down among His creation. something that destroyed all of God's children that were misbehaving all but the ones that were abiding by God's word---Noah and his family. Not only do many believers read and know of this mighty act of God, there are many other legends and folk lore throughout history that have referenced this great act of correction.
The Flood of Noah: Legends&Lore of Survival, is full of all kinds of interesting and in-depth information. The authors have researched and collected this information to give you a final synopsis on all things flood-like. Complete with pull outs, fold outs, and many other neat things---this book is a fully functional interactive book. This very large book, but contains very knowledgeable information that to me just proves that the Bible is a true account how anyone ever doubts it is beyond me. And judging by some of the beliefs of other people and religions it seems that they believed in in some for or fashion as well.

My boys and I used the book to gain further knowledge on Noah, the Flood and what others aid or believed in concerning this mass event. We were unaware just how far this all expanded and how many generations believed the same. Even though many of them do not believe exactly as Christians do, it is great knowing how much of an influence God has over so many.
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Moms of Master Books review group.
When this book arrived, we had family visiting at our house, and it immediately was passed around from generation to generation (four generations in all). We had everyone from my Grandma to my nieces looking at this book. The general consensus was this book was pretty cool. While the colorful graphics grab the attention of the younger set, the information contained within makes all ages want to dig in to learn more about Noah’s Flood and the legends in various cultures.

I’ve always been fascinated by the legends of Noah’s flood in various cultures, so this book is quite interesting to me. Not only does it talk about the different accounts and their similarities to the Biblical account, but it also talks about the names of Noah and his wife in the different cultures. It digs into whether building the ark and filling it with the animals was even possible. It concludes with a discussion about why their are differences and similarities in the ancient accounts and gives the salvation message.
This book would be perfect in not only the home setting but also a Sunday School setting.
This book seems to be geared towards kids but it is still a fascinating look at legends of a global flood from every continent. Unfortunately, it also ends with a message about "accepting Jesus Christ as Savior" that's common with Protestant creationist books.
