Dominick Kane and Rain Medici started their relationship with one another in the most unconventional way.
He kidnapped her.
With the kidnapping now behind them, life returns to normal, right?
Not a chance.
The push, the pull and their fights for control that we’ve come to love about Dominick and Rain still exist. And so does their passion.
People aren’t who you think they are. Familiar faces are not so familiar. The past and the present collide, opening up all of those old wounds and struggles once again.
Now, everything you thought you knew, gets blown out of the water.
Can Dominick and Rain finally heal what’s broken? Or will new discoveries push them even further apart.
Will love win out and bring them back together? Or will ghosts of the past ultimately destroy their love once and for all...
Wow! Wow! Wow! How this was such an amazing book! Just wow!
You know , I am the fan of Dominick. This guy is definitely a full Alpha. He is a very very sexy Alpha. This book enters with initial introduction to the topic. I do not know, Cleo I don’t know what to say. You've created a really true story. It's a story that is realistic and briliantly. That can be easy to read, and definitely a unique story.
I read this book so much pleasure and excitement that took me completely away. I already love the Rain and Dominick. When I was reading the book I felt the wound heart, happiness and unconditional love between them. Facts about the history, secrets, lies and secrets then again ... Love really can also do crazy things to people. (I'm keeping myself hard to avoid spoiler. Ahhh!) Also it shows that everyone could have problems, it is a book about life of ups and downs. I was shocked, and then I'm glad. Oh, I do not know really have mixed feelings right now. Dominick uncovers the truth, and has endeavored to preserve the Rain, and I've seen Rain is starting to grow to become a stronger woman. Absolutely love it, I want to say a lot more, I do not like to give spoiler. All I can say it is certainly an excellent job! Especially on how it ended. God!
Cleo, I really want to see you in the NYT bestseller list. I want everyone to see the professionalism that you have. Folks, buy Cleo's books, and I could swear that you will definitely not regret reading.
I liked this story I loved rain and Dominick's journey from the beginning there was a lot of twists I did not see coming and then some I did. not sure if I would make Dominick my book boyfriend yet he still isn't there for me just yet perhaps in the next one ☺ this book has a way of sucking you in makes you want to be on their journey it was loving at times heart breaking and sexy, now I didn't like one area of this book which was some of it had a little too much attention to detail on small insignificant things such as making coffee or food or sitting at tables that for me kinda puts me off reading I don't mean this in any harsh way but its the only way I know how to say it so don't fault me on it I loved the book and the storyline but if I wanted to learn how to make stuff and so on I would read a cookbook things like that in books like this for me make me not want to read it which would be a shame because the book is great besides it still looking forward to reading the next one well done Cleo the story is great the journey fantastic but the attention to detail on the small stuff just wasn't my thing, all in all a great book.
Ms. Cleo scored a bullseye again with this second book of the series. I was thrilled to see Rain finally stand up and find her backbone. She knows what she wants, picks her battles, chooses what to overlook, what to forgive, and decides for herself what she will or will not tolerate. This Rain is much stronger and more determined than the Indecisive, doubtful, second guessing Rain we met in Book One.
The drama and intense energy continues to flow throughout the book. Rain and Dominick worked on the secrets and pains of their pasts; two broken people finding healing in each other so they could have their "somewhere". But as some secrets become revealed, others rise to the surface bringing more questions, mystery and suspense. Their love has been through a wood chipper but the pieces manage to find their way back together again and again. While it is exhausting, it is so very entertaining and enjoyable. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. Five Stars.
I was lucky enough to receive this book as a gift!! I love this story and it's characters...I was so invested after reading and loving Miss Taken that I already felt like I know Rain and Dominick as well as their family and friends! That being said there is a rollercoaster of feeling as I read Identity. Although there are quite a few grammatical errors and miss spellings...I didn't feel that it took away from the story itself. As a new writer (this being Cleo's second book) I believe her story line is unique, exciting and intriguing!! Her characters are so complex...I couldn't help but fall in love with them and want everything to work out in their favor but complexities of the past (both Rain's and Dominick's) seem to keep getting in the way. Cleo is an amazing writer and I am so anxious to read the next book in the series!! *I do hope that the editor is more careful with the next book though.
Wow. What an amazing read. I have no idea how, but Cleo Scornavacca managed to convince me that a man who kidnapped a woman falls in love with her, and she too falls in love with him. This book is filled with ups and downs, highs and lows and sometimes you will even want to knock both Dominick and Rain on the head. That said, not for one second can you ever be sure what will happen next. The very way their relationship starts is unconventional, and the way it progresses too, but you will have to read it yourself to find out all the salacious and intriguing details of what happens next. Great job Cleo Scornavacca.

>>> must read miss taken first >>> This book was better than the first one. it's kinda hard to do review and not give nothing away.
we continue our story of Dominick and Raine. The love they have for each other is amazing and the way they came together is just unreal. Yeah you want to slap Dominick but his not perfect he may not say or do the right things but what man does, that's what I like about this book the characters are real. You can't deny the love Dominick has for Raine it is beautiful. of course they have bumps and past but I lived it. 5 out of 5
4.5 stars from me. Just because Rain really pissed me off few times! Ugghhh girl! Grow up. Why you sometimes pain in the ass. And ohhh i more and more love dominic :D Cant wait to book 3 to release, just hope not far away please ;)
it released yet? Gahh been waitin on this book like fo'evahhhhh!!!
This is book two in this series and what a brilliant story it is.
I've read both these books in two days. They are gripping reads with twists and turns that I loved. I may have loved this book even more than book one as secrets and lies were told. This author has captivated me with the story of Dominic and Rain. I'm looking forward to book three.
I just finished reading this book ... i really enjoyed this story even though the characters frustrated me with thier behavior! Lol, I wanted to smack them until they smartend up
The story is full of emotional craziness, struggles, surprises and more...
I was given an ARC copy of Identity for an honest review!!
Once again I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this book! From the beginning of book 1 to the end of book 2 I was captivated by this story & the characters! When I sit to read a book I want to feel as though I'm apart of the story & that's exactly how I felt! I could feel the happiness, heartache, the unconditional love that Rain & Dominick had for each other! Don't get me wrong they had their ups & downs. They had so many curve balls thrown at them. They were put to the test time after time.
I wasn't a fan of Dominick in the beginning after everything he put Rain through. I was sure he was gonna dig his own grave. But I have to say he redeemed himself. As I said before the love that Dominick showed toward rain was an unconditional love.. He didn't always have to right words to say & he didn't always do the right thing. It was hard for him not to be the control freak he wanted to be all the time.
Rain was my favorite character in this book! I love how she wanted to fix everybody & their relationships. She just wanted everyone to be in love like her & Dominick. Especially her Best Friend Tommy! I just loved her personality all together. She is a strong, loving & wonderful person!
As you read this story you will see that people are not always who they seem to be. Even though people look happy on the outside it's not always the case. Some people have to endure heartache & disappointments in life but in the end they find it was all worth it. Sometimes the littlest of details are what matters the most!! Loved this story!!

Rain and Dominic decided that everything had to be out in the open before they could move forward with their lives.
Was this going to be possible?
Could it all be forgotten?
Can the past be left where it belongs, in the past?
This is a must read guys. We found it a better read than the first. It kept us guessing at every chapter.
Rain Medici and Dominick Kane continue with their whirlwind love affair. The story has a way of sucking you in and the colloquial and simple way in which the author writes makes it very interesting. Several secrets were revealed in the first book, but that only gave way to new ones. Rain is now unsure how Dominick will react, but she knows she has to be honest with him.
Dominick continues with his possessive and irrational nature, but that is the only way he knows how to show love. Rain also has moments where she acts irrationally and that is upsetting. Rain is a fixer, always looking to make everything right. This sometimes gets her in trouble.
The love between Dominick and Rain is strong and all consuming, but at times, it also seems destructive. He loves hard and doesn’t always think before acting. This definitely causes issues between them.
So much is going on in the story, so many twists and turns, so many unresolved issues…what a rollercoaster.
I was happy to see the secret of Dominick’s parents was just what I thought it would be. Now, I have mixed feelings about the person out to hurt Rain. I think I know who it is and would like to be right, but at the same time, if I am, that would be devastating.
I’ve enjoyed reading both books in the series and am waiting to see how much gets resolved in the third book.
Identity is the continuation of Miss Taken. In the first book, it started off with a chaotic relationship that began after a kidnapping gone wrong and progresses into something much more. This read is sexy drama packed.
Dominick is as controlling as ever and Rain is having trouble dealing with him. The drama ensues and they both have to work past their own inner issues. The relationship is intense and borderlines destructive. There are several scuffs that lead to just as many scorching make-ups. As awesome as sex is, the amount made things a little repetitive. I would have been okay with less because I enjoyed the story.
I found myself rooting for the main characters one moment and thinking I wasn’t so sure the next. At times this read was exhausting, but the pace kept up and was entertaining. As with the first, I enjoyed this read and recommend this series. I’m looking forward to more of Dominick and Rain as past and future collide. Who doesn’t like a little off-the-chain romance and drama every now and again? The Color of Ink had the pleasure of receiving a copy in exchange for an honest review.
I like how the story starts off. You immediately see Dominick's reaction to Rain leaving him and there is no lapse in time from the end of Miss Taken to the beginning of Identity. Rain is so strong and she finally learns to stand on her own 2 feet and stand up for herself without anyone else's help. Questions that you were left unanswered in book 1 were answered in book 2. More questions arise in book 2 and you guessed it we have to wait for them in book 3. Cleo does a great job of holding the readers attention and keeps them interested and not just in one book but in a whole series. I have a love/hate relationship with all the characters especially Rain, Dominick and Tommy and I know that is what Cleo intends when she writes her characters but it doesn't make it any less frustrating when you want to punch them so very often. Jaw dropping secrets are revealed and more are kept and hearts get crushed. There are super sweet surprises throughout this entire book and you won't see them coming. Next is Tommy's story and Oh boy I can't wait for you to read what happens with Tommy in Identity! I love Cleo's books and will continue to read and recommend everything she puts out.
People aren’t always who you believe them to be. Dominick Kane and Rain Medici started their relationship with one another in the most unconventional way. He kidnapped her. With the kidnapping now behind them, life returns to normal, right? Not a chance. (Amazon Blurb)
Fairy tale loves can’t always end happily ever after, or ‘we’ll get through it together, no matter what’. Dominick and Rain are going to have to face the worst of their problems, their secrets and the demands of their basic functions together or apart. The right question to ask is whether or not they can overcome these obstacles and manage to find their way back together and fight for what they need. Once again, Cleo Scornavacca manages to deliver a raw couple: two people ripped apart from individual pains, having to fight their needs to control, to dominate and having to share these, and having to wonder if the past really has a catastrophic effect on their future together. Hours of mind turning pages, this is one that does not deceive.
**Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. Read and reviewed by Kathleen for Alpha Book Club**
This is the 2nd book in the Miss Taken Identity series and it is just as love worthy as the first one! Cleo Scornavacca gives us a much deeper look into many of the characters and how lives and people change. Many secretes revealed!
"Rain made me love life every moment I was with her. She made me happy, sad, pissed off, and totally aroused."
Get ready to be SHOCKED! Love found, love lost, love confused. In with some new and out with some old. Thoroughly enjoyed reading more of Rain and Dominick and how much everyone grows in this second part of the series. I recommend one clicking and loving!
The author has a wonderful way with detail, and grabbing you and keeping you inside the love of reading about these characters. I absolutely adore Rain. She has such a wonderful way of looking at life even after everything that has happen in her life. Dominick is given us a frustrating ride and he will surprise you! Looking forward to reading the next book.
Now the true story comes into play. Dominic still has his cocky attitude towards everything. Although he has admitted to something's he did to Rain were wrong, but out was four her protection. Rain has fought to have freedom her whole life, but is now in love with a control freak. I love how her best friend Tommy is always there to help her at anytime. He helps her keep her head straight. I am honestly sad that he allows Rain to keep going back to Dominic or even to stay with him. I really thought they would be together by now, even though Rain and Tommy have their pact to never mess up what they have. Anyway. Tommy is Rains other half. She needs his help and he is right there for her. Something off about Dominic and his past and she is bound and determined to get the truth no matter the consequences are. Hers and Dominic's lives have changed in the short months that they have been together, and Rain wants nothing but the truth. But will she able to do it?
Last year I read Miss Taken and I was in love. It was one of my favorite books of 2014. When I saw this book had been released I was dying to get my hands on it. Rain and Dominick's story started off dramatically and I simply had to see how it would end.
As I got reacquainted with the characters I was glad to see they maintained their personalities. I wanted there to be a level of angst in the plot, but I think I got more than I bargained for. There were moment when I wanted to reach into the page and shake Rain. One moment she is confident and the next she is a mess. There were also extra layers within the storyline that became too distracting, in addition to multiple editing errors.
Overall, the book suited it's purpose and provided the conclusion to Rain' story.
I jumped right into reading Identity so that I could find out the answers to the questions that Miss Taken left me with at the end. The beginning of this book is all about setting the story up by telling secrets, answering questions, and making sure that the reader is caught up on the events from book one. I enjoyed the characters, but I couldn't help but feel frustrated with Rain and how she bounced back and forth to Dominick. This book contained many secrets and twists, some that I saw coming, but many that I didn't. About a third of the way through the book, the plot really started kicking and it was very hard to put the book down to eat or sleep. I needed to know what would happen next. By the end, I had several answers, but again more questions that I am assured will be answered in book three. I will be on the edge of my seat until I am able to have all of my questions resolved.
Book: Identity (Miss Taken #2) Author: Cleo Scornavacca Publication Date: 11/1/2014 Reviewed by: Tammy Payne- Book Nook Nuts My Rating: 4 Stars
REVIEW This book was filled with intrigue, mystery, and truth becoming known. Dominick learns so much more and it threatens to tear his world apart. Rain also has things threatening to tear her down but she refuses and she also refuses to let Dominick walk away.
Someone is out to tear down what her father built but whom? Well I guess that is in the next story.
This book I enjoyed and it was well written, the story is strong. However, it has many grammar issues (missing words).
Book Pairing:- M/F Did it give me a book hangover :- No Is this a review book or personal read :- Review read
Why I chose this book?
I was asked to beta read this story by the author.
What I liked about this book.
* The story continues nicely from the first book. * The characters are developed more with the story. * The right amount of angst and romance to keep the reader interested.
What I didn't like about this book.
The book was good but I preferred the first one slightly.
Identity picks right up from where Miss Taken ended. The title of this book is so appropriate on so many different levels. Rain and Dominick learn who they really are. Dominick finds the identity of his parents. Rain finds out why her mother was overprotective over her and someone's identity is not revealed. Identity is a page turner and I found myself picking it up whenever I could. On a down note there were many editing errors. They seemed to become more frequent as the story progressed. It is distracting when your really into the story. The characters have to dig deep within themselves to decide what they want from life and who they want to share it with. I am looking forward to the final book in the trilogy.
I was lucky enough to get a copy of part 2 from Cleo as prize. Rain & Dom's story continues but there is a twist to the story. Can they work through their problems or does Rain leave him for good. A big shock is about to be revealed about Dom and his life. They both had Mom's that thought of themselves and both did things that hurt a lot of people. Raven is still a cow and Tommy is still hot. There are some many twists I was like no way but in their crazy world they do love each other. There is so much left unanswered who is the red head? What is Michael up too?
This book picks up right where the first one left off. It again grabbed my attention and held it to the very end. I love the pace and the flow. It keeps moving and doesn't drag without throwing too much at you at once.
There are a few twists that you really don't see coming but when they happen you realize that you should have picked up on them. There were a few that you can predict but only because it is the way that the books flows.
Definite good read. I am looking forward to the third installment in this series to come out next year!
…………..People aren’t always who you believe them to be.
Ain't it the truth!! Once again Cleo has sucked me into her awesome world! And I LOVE it!!! Who would have thought that a man who was a kidnapper would be oh, so yummy?! This girl, that's who. Lol! I love how Cleo allows for you to feel like you are in the story and envision every aspect of it! And although a couple times I knew what was gonna happen... Other time I was like "wait! What!". And when a book does that to me... Well, it's one of my fave things!!
I absolutely love book 2 if this series. Rain & Dom laid it all out on the line. I wished Dom would have been more forthcoming with some things that he kept secret from Rain until now but I'm glad he did. It was about time that the both of them grew up so that they could have a good solid relationship with each other. There were also some secrets so explosive I can't even say because it will give too much away and I don't want to spoil a thing for anyone!
Absolutely brilliant I thought Miss Taken was written amazingly but Identity just blew me away I never saw the lies and twists coming till it you. I'm glad rain and Dominick found there love through all the crap they went through just to be together. Was stuck like glue reading this didn't want it to end but it still leaves with the open question Who is after harming rain? Can't wait to find out.
Identity, second book of Miss Taken series is an AMAZING read! The story will start where book one (Miss Taken)) left off.. As the story continues, Dominick will face the things that he's afraid of..losing the woman he loves. Things will also be revealed. The past and the present issues will collide..that might affect them. Loved it! The way the story ended is AMAZING! Loved it!!! Ms. Cleo nailed it!
This story follows on from where Miss Taken (book 1) ended. Rain Medici has found herself in a difficult situation after her latest discovery and there are more family revelations for Dominick Kane. Lots of twists along the way in this journey for Rain and Dominick and if they are strong enough to overcome his overbearing and controlling ways.
