BC's next move will change everything!

BC's bosses in the Office of Papal Operations - the OPO - tell him Luna Prime Governor McEntyre has been sympathizing with the enemy, the UIN. They can't let her give the Moon to the UIN. That's where he comes in. BC works for the Pope, "officially" assigned as PR man to the Cardinal and the Vatican Mission on Luna Prime. This was... interesting and I'm not exactly sure how to feel about it.
It had heavy religious tones but more so on the surface, no deep meanings per say. And it was also very humorous which I was not expecting considering the religious aspect.
Also there was no real plot except to follow BC around on his wild ever changing adventures.
3.5 rounded up as I am intrigued enough to read book 2.

Plot: This book is set in 2109 bc, and Bernard Campionwill pose as a priest but his real purpose is to be an assassin for the new catholic church. He has been given the mission to assasinate the Governer of Lunar Prime located on the moon, There is an uncontrolable war going on between the Universal Trade Zone and the Universal Islamic Nation. His mission is fought with danger as he has to convince others thay he is a young priesr. This will be the mission to end all missions and the repercussions will be cosmic.

Comment: I have enjoyed this book more than i thought i would. It has so many funny lines and scenes which had me chuckling to myself, this saying there is always the serious links between them. The characters are developed well but i would have liked some more about them before getting into the main storyline.

Alright first let me ask a question. Do you like Heinlein, Asimov, Clarke, Robinson, Niven, Hamilton? If you like any or all of those authors and their works, you'll like this series too. A great spacer trilogy that gives you a little of everything you'd want and at times makes you wonder if you are reading some lost work by Clarke, Asimov, or Heinlein but at the same time having a distinct flair that is Mike Luoma. Check this trilogy out, then read past it in the same world with the Alibi Jones stories.

The best way to describe Vatican Asassin is "fun." Fun story, fun concept, great world, and fun characters. For those who enjoy classic action sci-fi, this would be a good one to read. Really starting to enjoy Luoma's work!

Oh right yes. A review for this: a good ol' fashioned rompy solar space opera. A little bit WTF at times, but mostly fun.

I struggled with this for a while, but the writing style just didn't work for me.
