Judging by the age of this, I probably got this when it was being offered for free after it's initial release.

Well I finally read it, after almost 4 yrs.

It's not a bad survival/end of world book. A few minor points stop it from being excellent.

It wasn't fully proof-read, I spotted about half a dozen silly mistakes that can be easily fixed. As for the story and the characters, again well written apart from 1 silly mistake where Terry shot himself in the foot by revealing the fate of vital characters in his opening prologue, thereby throwing away to chance to imply any potential peril and ruining some very important plot.

If these few things were fixed, this has the potential to stand up as an excellent story.

Good page turn, made me want to keep reading. But a VERY weak ending.

Post-apocalyptic fiction at its best! Like most of this kind of story, it is filled with bad guys, and death, and man's inhumanity to man. But it all rounds out to a hope that justice will prevail.
