My feature documentary, Let My Country Awake, won a Best of Festival Award at the 2003 Berkeley Video and Film Festival and an Official Selection in the Women in the Director’s Chair at the 23rd Annual International Film and Video Festival.
Deeply concerned about the environment, I took time away from media to become a California Certified Green Building Professional and HERS Rater (California’s energy efficient residential rating system). I’ve has also trained as a California GreenPoint Rater, a program more exacting than the USGBC’s own LEED Certification program.
The Phineas Blue series is my first trilogy. I've also written a technical "How to" guide on building and converting WORD documents into well-formatted Kindle eBooks.

I loved Phineas Blue Domus, the second book in Deb Huston’s Phineas Blue series. Phineas and Sasha’s character development and maturing relationship are beautifully crafted, illuminated through witty, tender and thoroughly believable dialogue. I was captivated by their adventures into the past and their encounters with other-worldly beings whose designs for the future of earth pose challenging questions. As with Book 1, Ms. Huston’s writing goes deeper than most in this genre, delving into philosophy, ethics and poignant emotions. Bravo! Another thrilling journey through love and the space-time continuum!
