My momma was born and raised in New Orleans. At the age of twenty, she met and fell in love with an Irishman named Patrick Riley Dwyer. Needless to say, the family was a bit taken aback by this as they hoped she would marry a family friend. It was a modern day arranged marriage kind of thing and my momma downright refused.
Being that my momma’s families were descendents of the original English speaking southerners, they wanted the family blood line to stay pure. They were wealthy and my father’s family was poor.
Despite attempts by my grandpapa to make Patrick leave and destroy the love between them, my parents married. They recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.
I am one of six children born to Patrick and Lynn Dwyer. I am a combination of both Irish and a true southern belle. With a name like Dixie Lynn Dwyer it’s no wonder why people are curious about my name.
Just as my parents had a love story of their own, I grew up intrigued by the lifestyles of others. My imagination as well as my need to stray from the straight and narrow made me into the woman I am today.

What Worked For Me:
I started this book expecting greatness, especially after book one in this series and I received exactly that. I loved our heroine Chiara. She is classy and sassy and very independent. Born into wealth and privilege, she is no shrinking violet. From her volunteer efforts to her humble abode, she doesn’t let her wealth guide her or define her. Her heroes, Cash and Zane are strong, confident and the perfect foil to sexually repressed Chiara. They bring her out of her shell and make her feel reckless, wild, and free. A few hours of pleasure extend to days and weeks and this relationship looks golden until a crazy hitman goes…well crazier and Chiara’s life hangs in the balance because of her father and an unknown player in a game she wasn’t even aware was being played. This plot was fantastic and I completely didn’t see the ending coming. There was plenty of intrigue and suspense between all the mind-blowing (and Kindle melting) moments between our heroine and her heroes. And as far as best friends go…Chiara’s are some of the best I have ever read.
What Didn’t Work For Me:
Everything was outstanding.

Chiara Costiano has tried everything she could possibly think of to prove she is capable of taking over is company, but despite her best effort it falls on deaf ears. He is constantly trying to force her to date a man she finds about as desirable as a slick eel and when it looks like her life is in danger, she finds out he is selling his company to two strangers.
Cash Corbin and Zane Heston are not sure the why the sudden rush to sell the company, they are intrigued by Chiara and the more they get to know her the quicker they realize they have found the woman they have been looking for. Although Chiara is fighting with understanding her fathers betrayal and falling for two men who have managed to sweep her off her feet.
I liked this one but it had a couple of conflicting plot issues that at the end did not make sense. Overall good, but Chiara initially comes off as sweet and a bit more demure and then is like a hellcat instantly. Did not flow as good as some of the other books by the author.

Chiara is determined to find out what her father is up to as he has become distant and when she finds out what he is planning she is upset as she wanted the chance to prove herself to him. When she finds out that Cash and Zane are the ones looking in to taking over father's company she is shocked and annoyed at the same time. She is shocked because she is instantly attracted to them and annoyed because they are doing what she wanted to do in the first place. Have control over the company.
Cash and Zane are instantly attracted to Chiara and become determined to make her theirs and when she is in danger they have to protect her and make her realise that she is theirs and they will do anything for her.
The attraction sizzled between the three of them and there was a couple of amusing parts where the green eye monster nearly made Cash and Zane commit murder. Chiara soon makes them feel better and defuses the tension. All three are hot and the passion sizzles off the page and really enjoyed reading this one.

Superb book! Loved the characters they are witty and you can easily fall in love with them. Even the supporting characters will make you wanting to see a whole story about them and their lives. And Cash an Zane two sexy billionaires who are strong and sexy with a take charge attitude and if I want it I get it motto. Love them what girl wouldn't fall for them! Chiara doesn't stand a chance against them. Looking forward to the next.
