In the city of Detroit Michigan there's a lot of lying and betraying going on. Je’leese and Katherine never thought they’d be lied to and betrayed by people they loved. Daivon is in it by herself and wants other people to feel her pain. Giovanni and Chris are trying to keep their secrets under wraps before their women find out about them and Jasmine is just a gold digger looking for a man with deep pockets.

2.5 uh, I'm a little confused about this story. I'm always confused by ppl pretending to be best friends with ppl they either don't like or are envious of.

Daivon was allegedly best friends with Katt & Je'leese while Jasmine was allegedly good friends with Dora.

The girls in this book all allowed their lust dictate their lives. There were absolutely no consequences for the men. Ridiculous.

I absolutely LOVED this book! The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because it should have been edited better. I punctuation was really bad, but the book was so good that I was eventually able to ignore it.

There were a lot of characters and all of them were written in first person. CoCo J did a great job in keeping them separate and not accidentally changing it to 3rd person in a middle of a chapter like I've seen authors often do.

I wouldn't classify this as a "hood" book. Based on the cover, that's what I thought it would be. This book was seriously a non-stop page turner. Not a dull moment for me. Already reading Part 2!

Obesity

This book was really good. Love and betrayal is definitely a good title. These were some thirsty women and the men weren't much better. Jaleese and Katt put up with a lot and a made you wonder where their self esteem went to. However, the other women made you really want to strangle them. I enjoyed the story and I really wasn't expecting the ending. I recommend this book for a quick read that keeps you interested.

SMDH...

I will never understand why some of us take so much before we actually snap. One can never say what they will or will not take because everybody is different and have different tolerance for different situations. I can't stand to have my feelings played with and I give that same consideration to others...just me! Great book and ready to see what happens next...about to start book 2 now...

This book ended so good that I was so happy that I had book2 and I know I need book3 but damn I was so heated about Dai like foreal yo girls though smh but hey as you get older you learn that everyone is not for you but I was really worried about Gee and I gave Kat mad props because I don't know if I could forget all that and last but not Leese girl I kinda feel like you stupid but at the same time I feel you I don't me and you have love hate relationship

This was my first book I read from this author. This book was very good and held my attention the whole time. It was some errors and it did take away from the story line, because it kept pointing out different points. These girls are off the chain and I hate Daivon butt with a passion. How can she be girls with Leesy and Kat and be trying to sex their man also. I hate dirty females like that. Be smiling in your face and do dirty behind your back. She gonna get what she deserve

I thoroughly enjoyed this read! I was rooting for Giovanny in the beginning but now ehh! I hope things start looking up for the girls in part 2 they deserve a break. That ending had me like yessss girl Dai deserved that! Looking forward to part 2 :)

Giovanni and Chris is some sneaky n***** but Dai she was wrong for sleeping with her friends man females are so jealous these days. This book is very worth reading.
