Elemental Awakening #1

The Tempting Touch Of Fire

Rate this book
'Oh, this was sweet torture. To be this close to nirvana and walk away because I am coy. I closed my eyes tightly and swallowed down my fears. Theo wanted me. Like this. He craved me, in any way he could get me. Even if I wasn’t his, even if this all was torn asunder tomorrow, how could I not take the chance to feel this, to share this, with him? Even if just for a moment.'

For the past year Casey Eden has nurtured a crush on handsome, confident and slightly arrogant Theo Peters. For the first time in her life she's actually been able to flirt with a man. She even believed he was about to take their delicious flirtations to the next step.

But then things changed.

A pit full of dirt.
A preternatural world she never knew existed.
And a fire of passion ignited deep inside her heart.

Now, they are sworn enemies, their attraction to each other a bitter-sweet temptation that will only lead to heartache in the end. But there is more for Casey to be worried about than forbidden love. Her world has been turned upside down and inside out, and now she has to find out who and what she has become. To do that, she must walk a dangerous tightrope between desire and reality. But reality for Casey includes a calling to the Earth and a longing for Fire, not to mention those who become aware of her will do anything to get what they want. And she soon begins to realise nothing will ever be the same again.

This is a SERIAL set of books, not a series in the tradition where one ends on a closed thread or picks up with related characters. Luckily, because of reviews by others, I was prepared. In each new book, Casey picks up a new element to wield. This is book one, and she learns to fling around some dirt, make vines do interesting things and otherwise wield earth.

I admit to being a little lost in the beginning, but I think this was intentional by the author. Casey awakens in a pit of dirt, having lost two full days of time. She is confused, feeling odd, and still slightly off-kilter by the ongoing attention of an attractive Greek god who has been frequenting her sandwich shop. The disorientation is real, and we are feeling it right along with Casey.

Instantly, I was absorbed by Casey's dilemma in her life changes. She is swept up in an unforeseen standoff with the romantic lead, Theo, and her life is thrown into yet another tumultuous upheaval. Throw in a little fiery spice from said Greek god, and I was hooked. Their incendiary attraction, despite the problems between their elements, burns up the pages.

The element-crossed lovers get little down time in this fast-paced book. Hang on for an exciting ride, and be prepared to dive into all five books.

I have to admit feeling a little 'suckered' after reading this book and finding it basically ended mid-scene. I hate that. Now the next book isn't even available on Kobo. I doubt if I will read more of this series. Too many others competing for my time and this cliff-hanger tactic irks me. Overall the story was interesting and I liked the dynamic between the two main characters, but nothing really set it apart. I enjoyed that it was set in Auckland, where I lived for a summer. It's always fun to recognize street names and places.

**I won this book through a Goodreads Giveaway!**

Everything I could want in a book I found in this novel by Nicola Claire. At once a paranormal adventure and also a fiery romance, it catered to both my love of young adult fantasy and adult erotica.

In all fairness, the novel began somewhat slowly, in my opinion. It took me several chapters to really become immersed in the world Claire created. Once I understood its myriad complexities and became invested in the characters, however, I couldn't put it down! The swiftness of the action, the familiar "ill-fated lovers" storyline, and the beautifully detailed romance created a perfect storm.

I felt connected to each of the characters by the end of the book: Theo is a gorgeous, troubled, sweet man with a hardened façade. Casey is a sheltered, demure woman whose strength and beauty radiate more and more as the story progresses. There are certainly connections that can be made to the Twilight saga, Romeo and Juliet, and the Discovery of Witches series by Deborah Harkness. However, these similarities don't take away from the book's appeal at all. If anything, Claire has taken the more positive and interesting aspects of each of these and created a world all her own.

There were times I wished there had been a more thorough editing job done on this book, but as I became more drawn into the story, those details mattered less and less. Like any good series, the book ends leaving you desperate for more and lamenting the fact that the next book has not yet been released! I am so pleased the I was given the opportunity to discover this book and eagerly await the next installment.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the quick pace of young adult fiction, the allure of the paranormal, and delightfully steamy romantic interludes.

First of all- Thank you Nici for the beautiful dedication. Yes I had read all of your books at that time and loved them all and this is no exception. Now you're writing them faster than I can read them! You really are an amazing and talented writer.

Second - I can't believe you finished it like that! Arghh what a build up. This has got to be one of your best 'fight' scenes! I'm still reeling... Definitely got a few emotions going there. I think I'm lucky to have the next book waiting for me.

I love Nicola Claire's romance novels almost as much as her Kindred Series because unlike other romances I can never predict what's about to happen, she writes in such a way that there could be a multitude of outcomes and what comes about is usually something I've never even thought of, which I love. There are always plenty of twists and turns as well as a whole lot of imagination. And there are plenty of juicy bits! Maybe even a bit educational...

I feel so privileged that I've been able to share the very beginnings of your journey as a writer. Keep up the fantastic work! At this rate I'll never have to read another from any other author!

Your biggest and now definitely not your only fan!

This is borderline a 'sex first plot second book'. The only reason why it was borderline is because I think the author needed a bit more story just to get us up and running but now that the two main characters have done the deed, I imagine the plot will suffer. I also hate that it ended mid-scene in a stupid cliffhanger. A ploy to get us to read the next book which was fine if the author was still offering it free but I tried the link and it just took me to her website with no free book sign up. Luckily, I don't feel particularly invested in the characters so I don't care if I don't find out what happens.

Sex quotient: Plenty of it and no public commuting unless you want to play the ultimate mischief maker, so be prepared for some psycho to follow you home.
Soundtrack: Throw Your Arms Around Me https://youtu.be/e69wQsfrbSU (Definitely one of my favourite love songs ever)
OK, this one verges on sex overkill and it's true I ended up doing some skimming.

The story becomes one of star crossed lovers and isn't a new theme. This series is on Kindle Unlimited and if it wasn't I probably wouldn't bother with book two.

This is ok, I guess? It jumps to "in love" very fast and abruptly as well as the fantasy "super powers" for the "unaware heroine", etc.
I felt like it was missing several chapters at beginning to get you more invested and do some world building. The girl comes off a bit annoying at first, but she gets better. I made myself keep reading and overall it did get better. I'll continue onto the 2nd book and hope it continues to improve.

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side.

Firstly I would like to thank Nicola Claire, author of The Tempting Touch Of Fire, for giving me this wonderful opportunity of reading and reviewing this fabulous book.

I loved it from my heart, it's so believable and I'm sure the normal part of this story(apart from the paranormal twist) resembles the lives of many girls, well it surely does mine but at the end of the year the person on which I have an crush changes but don't worry it certainly didn't turn out here.

I loved the total concept and the story line as well. The characters are developed and I loved the way each of them became more flourished as the story progressed. The plot is well planned and the characters fit really well within it which enhanced the wow factor of this story.

Moreover I liked the forbidden love twist and it really made my day, I mean how will you feel if the next day it turns out that the hot and sexy man on whom you wasted on year is your enemy actually? That sucks!

The total emotional descriptions that the author introduced is really remarkable and those descriptions really brought out the true colors of the emotional state through which a character went and it made the story really heart and soul toughing for the readers.

The chemistry between Theo and Casey was hot and steamy and it definitely spiced up the read. Both the characters were great and were adorable. They were complete and perfect within themselves but the support of each other enhanced their colors!

There is action, suspense, mystery and a whole lot of twists and turns which are going to leave you totally shocked and surprised. The story is really unpredictable till the end and we have a huge cliffhanger which is surely going to piss off many readers but I enjoyed it a lot and it made me even more anxious for book 2.

All in all a great read for ya all and I hope that you'll definitely give it a shot and I bet that you won't be disappointed at all. Enjoy reading, guys!

I got this book as an ARC copy, in return for an honest review.

As with Nicola Claire's Kindred series, Casey grows up thinking she's human. Only to find out that she's really Something Else. And that she needs the guy she's been flirting with for a year.
The fact that she already knows the guy she's 'destined' for is a nice touch.

I love how Casey's emotions have been written. You can properly see inside her head, and understand the turmoil she's going through, as she struggles to keep her head above water in this new world she's been thrust into.

A few things about this book were the reason as to why I didn't give it a 5 star rating.

1. she has this deli shop. You never get to know why/why/when she opened this. Is she a serious foodie? Does she love baking? The only reference I found in the book about this was when Casey remembers that her family was so proud when she opened it up.

2. She has this deli shop, and due to thing that happen, she's not going to be able to go to work the next day. So Theo tells her she needed to let them (those that work for her at the shop, including BFF, know) And yet, she never does. I don't know, maybe the butler took care of it (yes, there's a kick-ass butler. He's so awesome, I want one)

3. Her apartment gets trashed. And nothing gets done about it. - There's barely any mention of it after it happens.

4. Casey 'dreams' about her dead grandfather, who knows what's happening to her, and yet when she discusses her abilities with Theo, her grandfather never comes up.

5. this book finishes on a cliff hanger.

So. 5 things that are a little 'unfinished', as it were. However, as this is an ARC copy, I guess it may change? Don't know. And, this book actually only covers about a week, so some of the stuff I brought up will probably be covered in the next book. (I guess. Hopefully. I hate unanswered questions.)

Look out for the cliff...

The Tempting Touch Of Fire is great action-adventure tale with mystery, tension, and hot romance. The full-length book ends with a big cliffhanger. I just finished book 2, The Soothing Scent Of Earth, and it also ends in a cliffhanger. After two full length books, so much is not resolved. I just really hate cliffhangers when they are not disclosed in the book description and I am caught by surprise. It is different if you know it is a serial type story. If book 3 has a very satisfying ending that makes it worthwhile, I might come back and revise the rating upwards.

Ms. Claire's writing is good quality, and her New Zealand English is an engaging novelty to my "ears". The word differences and idioms seem more proper and precise than U.S. English--at least that is the impression that I get from Ms. Claire's prose.

Since you know to expect a cliffhanger, you may well enjoy The Tempting Touch Of Fire if you like Elemental PNR action-adventure stories. This is still a free download (09-27-14).

Wow! What a fantastic and original story.

For the past year Casey Eden has nurtured a crush on handsome, confident and slightly arrogant Theo Peters.

But things change when Casey wakes up in a pit full of dirt.
After living her whole life as a human she is thrown into a preternatural world she never new existed and the man she had been crushing on was now her sworn enemy. Her world has been turned upside down and now she has to find out who and what she has become.

Nicola always succeeds in creating a truly believable world that completely sucks you in

The characters are so well developed , that you become completely invested in them and their journey. The rich descriptive prose has the reader completely immersed in that world – the sights, the sounds, the feeling.

Add to this that Nicola knows how to write the perfect Alpha male and writes some pretty steamy sex scenes. The book has everything – an exciting edge of your seat ride, laughs, heartache, love, angst and an exciting cliffhanger!

Can’t wait for the next installment

The Tempting Touch of Fire was a great, don't put down read. There was so much creativity with the world building and such fire between our couple.

I loved the world. It was so interesting to see how Casey's life changed after she encountered the pit of dirt. The supernatural elements of the world were described so vividly that the reader could almost experience what Casey was feeling as she grew and developed her powers.

Relationship-wise it was hot. Casey and Theo had such chemistry and despite the fact that just about everyone was pitted against them they were willing to throw themselves into their relationship. Despite the layers of reluctance for the both of them there was one thing they really wanted and that was each other. The one thing that I noted that bothered me slightly was that no one else in the entire book, that I can recall, had a relationship of their own. Not even a passing flame of note.

Overall, I loved this book and can't wait to read the next. Such solid writing and a fascinating plot. Sure to be a hot buy.

Wow! what a book! I just finished The tempting Touch of Fire and before I say anything else I just have to mention that this story has a cliffhanger, a major gut-wrenching cliffhanger. and I hate cliffhangers!! I have actually been boycotting them for awhile and I had no idea this book had one. But, that said I really did enjoy this story, I thought the concept was very original. It was exciting, sexy and heartbreaking. Casey is a normal girl who's life changes drastically when she wakes up buried alive in the dirt. description Theo is the man she has been crushing on for a year and my be the one to hold all the answers description I will be impatiently awaiting the next book in this series (I hope you write fast Nicola!)

The Elemental Awakening Series is a Paranormal Romance set in Auckland, New Zealand. The premise behind this preternatural series is foremost: Love conquers all. But don't let that fool you... there's a deliciously sexy, dangerously sensual, heart-palpitatingly adventurous tale behind the supernatural story that unfolds.

This was such an intense story of love and discovery that I couldn't put down. I simply love Theo and Casey. Casey is strong, even with the disadvantage of not knowing what is happening. Theo is willing to buck all tradition and loyalty to keep her at his side. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Book Review- The Tempting Touch of Fire by Nicola Claire

Casey Eden owns a deli, working hard with her best friend, Sonya. So, when she finds herself buried underground, she freaks out. She hadn’t a clue how she got there and why. She learns that two days passed while she was in the pit. She also heard strange voices.
Her friends and even her crush, Theo, were worried about her. Unfortunately, her life changes drastically as a result. Plants and trees bend toward her. When she touches them, they calm her. When Theo sees her again, his demeaner changes. He becomes cold and distant. He calls her GI. Casey has no clue what is happening to her or why Theo has suddenly changed his feelings toward her.
The truth is shocking, and the author gives Casey a period of denial, but she must get over it quickly. Theo has his own secrets. He is pyrkagia and they are natural enemies. Of course, Casey has no clue. Her confusion is evident in her actions as is her frustration. It is almost a Romeo and Juliet theme. Two from opposite sides coming together as soulmates which causes problems for both sides. There is a lot of treachery that both characters have to deal with. Not many from either side they can trust. It was a great story from suspicion to love. The ending is shocking. I can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens. I give it a 4 out of 5.

I don't usually do paranormal romance, but I love Nicola Claire's romantic suspense books and decided to give this one a try. I am so glad I did. Ms. Claire knows how to write romance, and I just adored Casey and Theo. This story is a bit Romeo and Juliet-esque, and their relationship really tugs at the heartstrings.

"And now, to know you are mine... and to not be able to keep you. It tears my heart apart"

"I am lost to you"

Yes, this story does end in a cliffhanger. I'm generally not a fan of cliffhangers because I'm impatient. But if there is a cliffhanger, it has to be gooooooood. Like, "I must download the next book right away because I NEED to know what happens NOW" kind of good. And this one definitely met those criteria for me.

SO, now I'm off to download book 2!

Another series by Nicola Claire that really pulled me in. It came close to Kindred (although not sure anything could truly eclipse Kindred).
I am not going to say too much about the story itself as I don't wish to include spoilers but needless to say these are beautifully written with plenty of depth to keep the reader emotionally involved. Nicola Claire does not pull her punches when it comes to her novels, there will be heartache alongside true love and some pretty hot love scenes. The storyline is gritty and the characters are well developed and they will grab your heart.
Addictive reading, can't wait for the last book in this series.

This book had me hooked from page one. I have had this sat in my 10 books for months and now wonder WHY! It's new, refreshing and like Nicola Claire's Kindred series, addictive. I have downloaded the nest two books as I know I am going to want to read them back to back.

This is Cassandra's story - she finds herself thrown into a world she didn't know existed. One where it's inhabitants can control The elements! Out of her depth and surrounded by danger, this book introduces you to this new world and her fight to survive. In true style, this book has originality, excitement, adventure and a good dose of HOT!

Just to start off and say I love Nicola Claire's Books. This one so far seems just as awesome as Kindred series and make me feel like I am in Auckland New Zealand.

Casey story started with a bang, now me waking up in a coffin dirt grave, I would pannick. I love her personality a bit shy but acertive even in the face of such mouthwatering temptation that is Theo Peters.

In such aversity that's on their way I look forward to see what happen after the goodbye on the golf course.

in the description the book states that Casey is a 23 yo woman; however, based on her drama i would say she is @ 13 or 14.

i am not finishing this series, which is a big deal for me. i love series books and getting into the characters.

the majority of the book is casey talking to herself and going back and forth, making assumptions, crying alot.

The fmc is pathetic. I was waiting from start to end for her to stop denying everything people said and what she felt to be true. She acted like a spoilt child caring only for herself and I want to give this book 1 star for that alone but the writing is well written and the book did engross me so here we are. I’ll give the next book a try and pray she’s better.

What on earth is going on? You'll ask this about a million times before you start to get into the plot and any answers. The first half of the book gets a little over powered from the romantic story line but once you get to the main story, it just takes off from there.
I can appreciate the author's hot, passionate love scenes. I love the friction and tension between Casey and Theo.

4.5 Stars! The Tempting Touch of Fire opened a world of heart-stopping danger, riveting adventure, and soul-searing love. This paranormal romance explores the seemingly impossible obstacles love must overcome while unfolding a story of unknown identity, involuntary change, and fear of the future.

Summary:
Innocent Casey Eden has nursed a crush on the handsome, arrogant Theo Peters for the last year. Her heart races, her cheeks blush, and she stammers like a school-girl, but her ability to flirt with a man for the first time in her life is exciting and liberating. After a year of dancing around each other, Casey expects for her flirtations to finally step it up to the next level, anticipating the change. And change does come, but not merely to the next level. Well beyond that, in fact. Waking up one morning to a pit full of dirt is an occurrence Casey can't explain. Finding herself immersed in a supernatural world she never knew existed is almost impossible to handle. But learning that the man of her dreams is right at the center of this new world, as is she, is unfathomable. Theo and Casey's mutual attraction is not nearly as simple as that of a school-yard crush, but instead so much more. It's a soul deep longing that's hard to resist. Unfortunately, they are sworn enemies, and any association between them could only end in heartache. Forbidden love aside, there are bigger events at play that demand attention. With the world she is familiar with quickly crumbling around her, Casey is in a race against time to find out who and what she has become. There are also those who would do anything to get to Casey. With the Earth's soothing presence calling to her and her desire for the tempting touch of fire, Casey walks a fine, dangerous line, but one thing is very clear...nothing will ever be the same again.

This book started with a bang. Who can resist the heart palpitating fear that courses through you when reading of someone buried alive. Not me. So it definitely caught my attention. That said, only a short time after that, I was really kind of confused and having a bit of trouble following what was happening. This can be construed as good and bad. Bad because, I hate not being in the know, and not understanding where the story was going kind of made me antsy. Good because, I was in Casey's shoes, living the same confusion, fear, longing, and panic. All except for the whole pit of dirt thing. Learning at the same pace as the MC often helps me to connect more, and this was the case with Casey, making me feel apart of the story, pulling me in. For the most part, I liked Casey. She was compassionate, sweet, giving, but all with a spark of something more bold and feisty. The glimpses of her spirited ire were the perfect match to her personality. I even liked her incredible naivety, to a degree. Her innocence brought with it an unconscious guilelessness, which was sweet and in matching with her personality. But the repeated reminders of her inexperience started to grate. Even with those concerns, I loved her character. The life-changing journey she's started traveling is alluring. Her connection with Theo was even more so. He was wicked hot, and not just because he's a pyrkagia. He projected a cool and aloof appearance, but was really a melting pot of emotions and feelings below the surface. I love complex heroes like that. Almost from the start, I felt the absolute rightness of Theo and Casey being destined for each other. The only snag in my happily ever after was Isadora and Theo's obvious feelings for her. I loved Sonya and only wish we could have gotten a little bit more with her. Aktor was amazing! He's got it going on for an older gentleman. Overall, a brilliant addition to the Nicola Claire library. Her incredible talent for wrapping forever love in a stimulating storyline is impossible to resist and unforgettable. This first installment has captivated me, and I cannot wait to read more. But beware...there is a cliffhanger ending. <3

Brought to you by OBS reviewer Vanessa

I was given this book in exchange for an honest early arc review for the author. I was not compensated in any way.

Let me first start off with I am a huge Nicola Claire Fan. I discovered her books by accident, beginning with her Kindred Series
and I have yet to be disappointed. From the beginning, I completely devoured this book. I mean DEVOURED it. Nicola has a way with words and storytelling that truly captivates the reader and drags you into the beautiful worlds that she creates. Many writers have very lengthy narratives between small areas of dialogue that can slow down the story, but not Nicola Claire. Her stories grip you from the first page and pull you directly into her elaborate and enthralling paranormal worlds. You feel as though you are directly in the story, experiencing everything as the characters do.

The Tempting Touch of Fire is a Fantastic start to a new series, filled with the right balance of action, mystery and romance. As an
avid romance reader who has many book boyfriends, I didn’t think it was possible to find another leading man to add to my collection.
However, Theo Peters has absolutely made the list of my top male leads. He’s sexy, smart and has an overwhelming presence that melts you.

What I loved most about this book (Besides Theo!) was the originality of the story. It has become more and more difficult to find paranormal romance novels with a unique storyline or angle. It truly shows the authors depth of writing ability to take a new concept and make it so realistic and relatable.

I also loved Casey (Cassandra), our female lead. She is strong and has a courageous heart that makes her so endearing. Unlike many other female leads, she doesn’t sit around waiting to get rescued. Instead she takes her life by the horns and makes the tough choices. Without revealing any spoilers, I can only say that I am truly looking forward to finding out where the end of book one will lead us and how that may complicate/change things for Casey.

Did I forget to mention this book is hot? Like capital H.O.T. There is enough tension, romance and sex to please even the greediest romance reader. This book wasn’t filled with smut or random sex without purpose, I hate books like that. Instead we are slowly tortured with the build up and I found myself enjoying every tantalizing minute of anticipation.

The hardest part of reading this book was reaching the last page! The cliffhanger ending was absolute torture as I will now have to wait
even longer for the next book in the series. I have a feeling book two is going to be heart wrenching, but well worth the wait! Publication is expected in early 2014, but I can hope for an early release!

I strongly recommend you give the Tempting Touch of Fire by Nicola Claire a try. You will not be disappointed you did! Also, If you
haven’t already picked up her other books, I strongly encourage you to try her Kindred Series and Mixed Blessings Series. Both of these series are among my favorites for paranormal romance books.

The Tempting Touch of Fire is a captivating story that I didn't want to finish. I like the new, or new to me if it has been used before, idea of elementals in the way the author made them and their society. It's a bit refreshing and a nice change from stories that use the same generic caste of supernatural beings. Casey and Theo are interesting characters and the passion between Casey and Theo is smoldering hot.I wanted them to fight back soo much because even if they waited a long time to try and reunite they would still have to face the same problems. Although I do have to admit the Gi were a huge problem that was not going to be resolved so easily. But still Casey and Theo giving in, even if only briefly, drove me nuts because I want them to be together so much.
I would have given it 5 stars but I abhor cliffhangers(I screamed in my head at the ending), the main characters were giving up too easily, and random word choices that threw me off and paused my eyes eating up this story. Also, I'm not a big fan of the one person point of view because it limits everything to what Casey sees and hears. I'm such a I-want-to-know-every-detail type person so my curiosity was running rampant when it came to certain things. But, despite all of this I still loved the story.

This is a supernatural book like none other - is that a good thing or a bad thing? In my opinion it was just ok, tough to follow but maybe the rest of the series will be easier to understand now that we have this foundation. Casey Eden wakes up in a ditch surrounded by ivy & dirt & leaves and is forever transformed. Who is she now? Why does she have this ability to communicate with the earth, the trees & soil & plants? Has she always been this way? Casey owns a sandwich shop in New Zealand & has flirted for a year with handsome Greek stud Theo Peters. But when Theo sees the changes that have taken place in Casey he acts like her worst enemy which is partly true. All four elements used to be able to mix together (earth, heat, wind, water) but now must be separated & could actually be at war. Pretty confusing. Theo is from the fire/heat element & he is a prince. If he takes Casey under his wing perhaps he'll be able to prevent his people from killing Casey. She is ridiculed & her life threatened at every turn & she is also under Theo's thumb since he is protecting her in a way. But it is no secret that Casey really loves Theo & hopes that his protection of her is something more, even if a relationship between these two could never be. Ended on a low note & I hope that Casey & Theo can battle their families to be together.

Free download. Well this book was amazing, and I am in love with Theo. Casey wakes up underground with no recollection of how or why, when she finally gets out and goes back to her life she realises she's been gone 2 days and now the guy she's been crushing on for a year knows something's different about her. Theo senses Casey has changed and initially thinks she's fooled him but once they talk he realises that she's telling him the truth and has no clue how she has her ability or who she really is. Enemies by birth rite, but the attraction is obvious, and it's so much more than that. Will their people allow their love to continue or destroy them?
Theo is my new book boyfriend, I loved him, his passion, possession, personality, the way he takes control and most of all the way he looks after Casey. She's very innocent, and has no idea how to deal with a new life that's thrown her way. The story, plot, writing, characters are great, a very original idea. I was help captive by the twists and turns. Lots of angst, romance, and love. The intimate scenes are great, well described but very thoughtful in nature. You feel an instant dislike to certain characters, and love others. Overall an amazing read that I can't wait to continue, I would recommend to paranormal lovers, as well as romantics.
