Kind of a dumb little book about a simple kid who learns to knit a sweater for his new baby sister. Pretty outdated- early 80s, maybe.

This book is set in New Zealand, so the language is more British.

This kid for some reason has to knit a lot of things. He tries to keep it secret from his family and friends. I read it in one sitting when I was twelve and felt so proud of myself.
