A great little story of a boy in Hawaii who befriends a dolphin. There is one slightly sad part at the beginning. Otherwise, this story is really wonderful, with the feel of the Hawaiian islands. As a child I would have loved this story and it would have been a kind of wish-fulfillment for me. I remember loving all the animals of the ocean and wanting to be an oceanographer (the first career I ever thought of for myself!)...
