From Hugh Howey's World of Wool... a new short story from the best-selling author of Rebel State: Underground and the upcoming Rebel State: Missing!
Horror lurks, down deep in the silo.
It starts as a tall tale, something the miners use to entertain themselves over big bowls of stew in the dining hall. Scratches on the equipment. Footprints left in the dirt. And whispers, coming from somewhere deep within the mines. Joe Forbes dismisses it as so much nonsense -- and then he remembers something his father said: You always feel pretty lucky, right before your luck runs out.

This is another great fan fiction book which is consistent with the Silo concept. Whilst the story is short (I would have willingly read another 50 pages of the same story) all Hugh Howey fans will love this 'horror' concept. If you have been smitten by Wool, Shift and Dust you will definitely love "They Kill" - I look forward to more of the same from the author! Strong recommendation to BUY and read!
