Desperate for money, exotic dancer Tony has sold practically everything he owns. All he has left is his body. When the opportunity arises to make some quick cash, Tony shoves his principles to one side and offers his services to any man willing to pay for them. The problem is his first client is nothing like he expected. In fact, Laine Lawson turns out to be more of a trick than Tony could ever imagine.
This was a bit of prostitute pillow talk. It felt very cold and lacking in emotion but then so is the business. I liked Ms Penn's writing style the most.
I have absolutely no idea how to rate this one. The main characters weren't necessarily likeable for most of the story, but they seem very real. Most stories focus on the fantasy of the whole thing, but this was definitely more like it would probably happen in real life. A kind of series of unfortunate events. Will I read it again? Yeah, I think I will. But I'm still at a loss as to what to rate it. I guess a 4 for originality and being realistic?
