I read all the Hugh Pine series in German in order to practice my German. Some parts of this one were harder to understand, but the general idea of the story is nice and I cannot get over the word play of "something else", it's brilliant. The title translation to German was lame, but they did manage to get the idea of the "something else" in the story itself. I was going to give the book away once I finished, but now Hugh Pine has grown on me and I might even read it again in the future.
