A nice gentle read up to the point of the practical jokes on people. To play jokes on people to the extreme of moving a sleeping man plus his bed into the street is totally obnoxious.
Very little about gardening, more to do with him and his brothers up to the above point.
I don't remember Geoff presenting Gardeners World and other shows but I visited Barnsdale Gardens with my mother and picked up this volume about his life. It's a light and easy read following his life in chronological order. I found it enjoyable and he seems to have been an interesting character. There isn't much about gardening but this focussed on his life, beliefs, philosophy and family. Worth reading if you want to know about the man behind the TV show.
