Well, okay, it's my fault - after the last BL novel I read I said I wanted more angst, and with this I got it. The main character has been sexually abused by his step brother for years - something I didn't know when I picked this book. Considering this is a BL novel, it was dealt with - well, let's just say it could have been worse. Ogawa's character and behaviour made a lot of sense, and I liked that, but the final message of "you should have protested more" left a bad taste in my mouth. Idk, I'm a bit torn about this, there were more parts I really liked and only one or two I really didn't, so I'm settling for three stars.
