Ciência e fé cristã são incompatíveis? A ciência torna desnecessária a fé? É comum ouvir na mídia, nas universidades e até nas igrejas que fé e ciência não podem andar juntas. About the author

Ruth is Church Engagement Director at The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion, where her remit is to equip and encourage UK churches to include engagement with science as part of their regular ministry and mission. She studied Genetics at Aberdeen and Edinburgh Universities, and was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Cell Biology in Edinburgh, while also working as the Development Officer for Christians in Science. She joined The Faraday Institute when it was founded in 2006, with the aim of developing resources for churches – the first of which were the Test of FAITH materials, and became Church Engagement Director in 2018. Ruth is a member of Christians in Science and a Fellow of their US counterpart, the American Scientific Affiliation. She is part of City Church Cambridge, and is currently studying theology at Ridley College, Cambridge.
