Wildly old-fashioned take on racism. The book spends too much time on "look it's understandable for the white milk to distrust the chocolate milk"

I am a preschool teacher and illustrator. I have found that once the book has been read to the younger children, they return to it again and again, and are able to follow the story through the pictures. The book uncovers the true cause of racism, and then embraces diversity, but the message is so skillfully presented that children and adults alike are entertained, more than "taught a lesson".
