Stateless Citizenship: The Palestinian-Arab Citizens of Israel

Rate this book
Palestinians living inside of Israel are placed in a paradoxical situation where, as Arab citizens of a Jewish state, they are both inside and outside, host and guest, citizen and stateless. Through the paradigm of stateless citizenship Molavi centers our analytical gaze on the paradox that it is through their status as Israeli citizens that Palestinians are deemed stateless.

Phenomenal read, and articulates the many contradictions of Israeli society and legal structure through exploration of its hierarchical citizenship framework. Fulfilled a personal knowledge gap regarding Palestinians in Israel.

Palestinians within the ‘48 borders provide a wet blanket of liberal democracy cosplay to idiots, and allow Israel to pretend it’s not Donald Sterling insanity racism country because multiculturalism and Arab Knesset guys. Examination of status of the ‘48 Palestinians is one of the linchpins which unravels this Michael Rappaport ahh narrative and exemplifies how Israel is a delusional house of cards project.

Satisfying condemnation of the liberal conception of citizenship as well.
