Hillary opened up to her sister Juliana and filled her in on the miserable past 20 years of marriage she's been suffering through. Don's infidelity preceded his marriage vows, but Hillary paid no attention to the whispers, gossip and her own eyes. She's had her fill of his cheating.

Juliana is heading a fundraiser for the properties she now owns and wants to put up a human and pet shelter for the needed and downtrodden in life. Ezra has given her true blueprints of said building and she's hired a local chef to do the food for her big fundraising event. Everything is getting ready for the big event and Juliana is getting nervous. Juliana was at home when the real estate/financial company who wants to buy her 3 properties for an outrageous amount of money Will she take it and go being a young socialite or stay true to her and her hubby's beliefs?

Oh my, Juliana is one tough cookie and I hope she continues to see the the value of helping foster kids and animals far outweighs the dollar amounts these developers are trying to offer her. Hilary has been a God send despite her personal family drama. It is good to read how well she and Juliana are getting along and that their sister bond is getting stronger. So many ugly people are out to get her land, but I am rooting for Juliana and hoping that she remains strong and continues to fight to ensure her late husband's dream come true. What will Juliana say about her latest offer? I guess we will have to wait for book five, but I hope she turns her nose up at it. Juliana and Hilary are doing something that will change the lives of many kids and misplaced animals.

In this installment, we get to hear Hillary’s and her real reason for arriving on her sister’s doorstep. The evolution of her character is truly fascinating. She softens, she’s more approachable, and she actually seems to care about people.

Another interesting bit concerns Ezra, the architect who drew the original plans for Juliana’s land. He seems to have some qualities we didn’t see at first.

And the final part of this chapter yields another even more outstanding offer for this waterfront property! I’m waiting to see how all this concludes!

Juliana and Hilary continue their fundraising efforts and plans for the gala. Hilary comes clean about why she left home. Juliana becomes more motivated to raise money and secure a job for the future to make her dreams a reality. She gets the architect on board for plans. She continues to face skepticism from the big developers as an offer is made.

In book four of the series we finally learn Hillary’s story and, frankly, it is not that surprising. The same question remains for Juliana, to sell or not to sell. Wait until you see the offer! This is a light quick read. I received a free copy for a voluntary review.

This is such a good read. Hilary opens up to Juliana about her life with Don. Ruthless developers are hounding Juliana for the property. Potential romance is brewing in the air. I was given an advanced reader copy of this well written book by the author and I am freely sharing my review.

Really good

A fast read. Very enjoyable. In this book we learn more about Juliana’s sister and her life. They are getting ready for the gala and developers are sniffing around her property. I look forward to reading the next book to see what happens.

Ongoing story

I wasn't sold on continuing after the first two books. I am sold on finishing the series! TODAY!!!! I'm loving the changing relationship of the sisters and how they are dependent on each other now. Excited to see the next turn of events.

Juliana is more interested in helping foster kids than she is the big bucks everyone interested in the property so they can develop it into something that would destroy the beauty of the area. I hope she continues to see the the value of helping foster kids far outweighs the dollar amounts these developers are trying to offer her. Hilary has been a God send despite her personal family drama. It is good to read how well she and Juliana are getting along and that they are getting closer all the time. The developers are out to get the property no matter what they have to do. Juliana is determined to stay strong & make her husband’s dream for this land come true o& build the house for foster children. They had foster children in the past, but they really didn’t have the room in their small house to do it. You will finally find out the real reason Hilary came to visit Juliana. Another interesting thing concerns Ezra, the architect who drew the original plans for Juliana’s land. He seems to have some qualities we didn’t see at first. But is he really on Juliana’s side or is playing along to getting information for the developers. The cliff hanger at the end. What will Juliana say about her latest big offer? Will she accept it or will she continue to make her husband’s dream come true??? I can’t wait to see what happens.
