Five and a half years after the birth of her child, Rose Weasley feels her life is about to go in a new direction. Things can only get better. Well, they can't get any worse...or so she reckons. A story about love, life, friendship, family...and an annoying cousin that will never stop calling her Red.
Once again, another relaxing read that allowed me to feel the nostalgia of Harry Potter. It’s so fun to see how someone else pictured that world continuing and makes me feel like this story still lives on in people’s hearts. A criticism I have of this one was I felt the drama was never ending and there was always something new happening for the sake of it happening. It did make for a very entertaining read, but at times it felt like certain plot points were fleshed out enough. Also, I know this is completely fictionalized and JK Rowling hasn’t given any context as to what the generation after Harry Potter would be like, so I’m not judging too harshly, but sometimes the things that happened and decisions that were made did not seem like something Harry, Ron and Hermione’s kids would do. However, the characters are all so funny and likable that I felt like I was right there with them. Back to normal books now!
I absolutely love it, and wish it were still available to read. If the author is still checking their good reads page in 2021, I do sincerely hope that they will repost both this one and the sequel on another website such as Ao3 or Fanfiction.net. So many people have tried to replicate it on these sites, but of course the complete books are hard to find! Please, I hope you could make this possible soon! Thanks!
loved this one as I loved the first one and yet again read this 3 times best pregnancy fan fic here!! and you get to know what happened to rose and her baby!!
I loved reading Delicate as a teenager and at some point Still Delicate wasn’t updating and I missed the ending. I found it YEARS later!! https://web.archive.org/web/201804121... it is quite good!
A very disappointing sequel to Delicate. That, while mining a serious situation with humor, managed to also present pathos and actual feeling through realistic teenage characterization. Delicate 2, while maintaining the tone of the original, loses sympathy for the players by virtue of them having matured not a jot over five years. Stupid decisions and emotional maturity lay poorly over characters who supposedly are adults with responsible jobs and capable of parenting with skill. All sympathy to the main pairing has evaporated. Gets 2 stars because writing mechanics are good.
Just like any other chick lit. The fact that it wasnt set in Hogwarts made it even more ordinary. Not very impressive.
Rose was extremely bitchy, and had not matured even a little bit, its like she doesnt realize she isnt 16 anymore. Scorpious is very pitiable and meh. Lots of random characters , with no story lines were introduced.
