There’s a thief in town. That kind of thing wouldn’t normally involve Mark and Linda, but after watching the security tapes, the sheriff concludes there’s no way anyone could do such things without “funny stuff” going on. He asks for their help and instead of a burglar, they find a young, inexperienced girl who’s gotten herself into a feud with the richest man in town. She needs help getting out of her mess, and also someone who can understand these strange new powers.
Our psionic trio, however, has problems of their own. After doing some intensive research, Carl visits Mark and Linda to deliver some bad news. The nodes that formed during the storm are slowly going unstable… spectacularly unstable. Once again they’ve got to find way to avoid disaster and the destruction of Linda’s brand new house.
