Born in 1970 in the English county of Berkshire, Mary now finds herself in the Cotswolds via Devon and Cornwall. She enjoys gardening, art and listening to classical music.

Eager for book 5!

Equally Wrong (Catching Up Book 4) by Mary Lay
I really enjoyed following Caroline’s life in Equally Wrong. There were some heartbreaking moments and some times when I questioned her choices! As always, the author sets the scene wonderfully and I felt as though I was in 1928 alongside Caroline. As we met old and new characters, it felt like catching up with old friends and making new ones. Catching Up is an easy read whilst also showing the difficulties of the period, especially for single women. It was difficult to finish this book as I so want to know what happens next for Caroline!

Caroline is one of my favourite characters and holds this series together with her charm and individuality. In this instalment we find Caroline working in the aircraft business, another new string for her bow. She faces a number of challenges both emotionally and socially during this book. No spoilers though. I cannot wait to find out where Caroline's journey will take her next.

This is the fourth book in the series and was exceptional. I have loved the whole series so far and look forward to the next one. Caroline is a great character who you would just love to have as a friend. Highly recommend this author.
