In the exciting conclusion of the trilogy, John Surrey transports himself and his girlfriend, 1940s film star Althea Rowlands, back to London during the Blitz to save what he can. Sneaking his way into battle, John risks his life--and the future.
Mostly set in World War II, this is quite possibly greatest time travel story ever. Characters, details, research and imagination excell. A great trilogy.
I read this book not knowing that it was part of a series. Suffice it to say that it stands alone as a solid book and made me buy the other ones. If you're a WWII buff, you'll appreciate this story.
A good change from my usual reading list. Time jumping and this one back to WWII. Fun, reads like it would make a good movie with fast-pace action and dialog. Good characters that you end up liking, though nothing too deep but a fun adventure to take with the main characters. The author has written two or three more in this series, I'll probably see if I can get a few more cheap thru Amazon or bookcloseouts. I rcmd.
