I've had this cookbook in my possession since I moved out of my mother's house. Much to my sister's chagrin it made it into one of my boxes of books and I have not let it go.
This book came into my life when I was 7 and the book was merely a year old. My grandmother, my mother, my aunt, my sister and I all have used different recipes that have been nothing less than successful.
The book contains many tips for presentation, preparation, and much more.
I would recommend this for anyone looking for plentiful and flavorful dishes to try.

As a note: the recipes herein take time. They are not for the "rushing" person of our generation, but for the person who genuinely wants to cook and spend time cooking and creating a fantastic meal.

This is a very good, standard cookbook that provides more than standard recipes. It also includes a good bit of information about foods, in general, as well as basic cooking techniques. If you are just starting out, this is an excellent book to have on hand.
