Blade & Arrow Security #2

Saved from Obsession

No matter what they said, I knew the threat was real.

When I first started receiving the letters, I hoped it was nothing. I hoped that the feeling of being followed was in my imagination. That the calls and texts and gifts were a weird joke or a case of mistaken identity.

But it didn’t feel like nothing. It felt dangerous .

The police brushed it off. “ You’re a professional model, Georgia. Surely you’ve had admirers before. I’m sure this is just a gift from one of your fans. ”

Except, it wasn’t. And one of those “gifts” was a horrific scar that ruined my life.

But it was over, right? My stalker is in jail.

So how come it’s happening again ?

And now the police are convinced it’s just PTSD. It isn’t . I’m scared, and there’s only one place left to turn—Blade and Arrow Security—if they’ll agree to help me.

Meeting Georgia is nothing like how I had expected it to be.

When she came to us—scared, stressed, self-conscious, but so brave —there was never any question of helping her. Traumatized by not just one stalker, but two ?

This is what Blade and Arrow does.

But I wasn’t expecting to be put in charge of her case.

How could I ever expect her to trust me ? I’m the intimidating one—always the tallest and biggest in the room—the person people always want at their back, but definitely not as their enemy.

But when we meet? There’s something . An electricity, a heat, a desire to protect her that’s stronger than I’ve ever felt before. But protecting Georgia has to be my priority. There’s no room for anything else. Or is there?

Maybe I can be her protector and her boyfriend.

Except—the danger doesn’t end when her second stalker is caught. And the threat to Georgia is worse than ever.

If I don’t figure out who’s behind this sick obsession, I could lose Georgia forever .

Saved from Obsession is the second book in the Blade and Arrow Security series. It’s a full-length novel about a former Green Beret and a brave heroine who must overcome a dangerous threat to find happiness together. No cliffhangers and a happily-ever-after guaranteed!

"I've never felt this way before. Never knew it was possible to feel this way. Like my entire life has been leading up to this moment."

"It's impossible to tell you how much you mean to me. The feeling is too big like an entire universe in my heart. My love for you is infinite."

After the police pushed her case off like it was nothing Georgia was over being terrified. She took matters into he rown hands. Reaching out to her best friend they finally get some help. Meeting up with a company who takes on cases like hers. After meeting Leo and his team she started to feel better. Leo felt the instant attraction and knew he just had to help her. When the stalker kept coming around Leo and the team knew they had to step up their game. Even after someone is caught the danger didn't end. Leo fears he may never be able to protect Georgia. How can he protect the woman he loves when he can't catch the culprit.

This story was absolutely wonderful. I devoured this book in hours. It has been one of the sweetest most swoon worthy books I've ever read. Leo made my heart melt time and time again. The team and friends along the way had such a great connection and it felt like a found family. There were twist and turns I never seen coming. I found myself shockingly trying to figure out who was after Georgia myself. The spice level was perfect and had the right amount of steam. The ending was wrapped up and so sweet my face hurts from smiling. I definitely want to pick up the others from this series.

This is the second book I had read by Gia Cobie and I couldn't put this one down.

This book revolves around a Georgia who is model that is being stalked. She has been receiving creepy letters, gifts, etc. and has asked the police for help. Unfortunately, without any return address on the label or anything else to go on the police tell her it's probably just some fan.

On her way home from the grocery store one night, she is attacked while coming into her apartment and the attacker has a knife and uses it on her face. The attacker is caught right away and Georgia is trying to get on with her life, but the life she has known as a model is no longer an option due to the large scar across her face.

When Georgia starts receiving letters, etc. again her best friend Haygroden tells her she needs protection and Hayden knows the security group that can help. Blade and Arrow Seurity takes on her case and she now has three alpha protectors just waiting for the attacker too come forward.

Cole, Rylan and Leo are the security specialists assign to protect Georgia. Each of the men take on shifts to make sure she is protected. Leo and Georgia become close as he is trying to make sure she is comfortable being in a place around the three of them and assure her she would be fine.
Leo has a way to get Georgia to relax as they place board games, etc.

This book is full of suspense, danger, emotional and physical abuse and had me guessing the whole way through the book.

Another Fabulous book of romance and suspense by Gia Cobie. Although the connection between Leo and Georgia is instant, they maintain a business and then friends' relationship for a long time. The suspense comes in waves and although it seems like it might be over, we know better because there is still a lot of chapters to read. The last third of the book is like a runaway freight train gaining speed as it flies down the track. The characters are fabulous, and you can just feel the love pouring off the page. Please, do yourself a favor and read this outstanding series.

This is the second book in the Blade and Arrow Security series. It reads well as a standalone but is connected to the first book. Georgia was attacked and injured, she's terrified and being stalked, the cops are no help so her friend gets Blade and Arrow involved to protect Georgia and find her stalker. Leo is put in charge of Georgia protection. Leo makes Georgia feel safe and he'll do anything to protect her. Plenty of suspense and steamy. I really enjoyed their story and can't wait to read more in this series.

Alpha Protector

Georgia has a stalker and doesn’t know what to do except turn to Blade and Arrow. Leo is part of the team assigned to protect her. He never imagined finding the draw to her so strong. Leo is a strong alpha in every way, but Georgia only feels the safety.

Leo and Georgia’s story is beautiful and full of a lot of steam and suspense. I was fully engaged and couldn’t put this story down. This is my first read of Gia Cobie’s but it won’t be my last. I love Susan Stoker’s World which is what had me take a chance on this story. I can’t wait to keep reading more of this series.

'Saved from Obsession' was a real page-turner from the beginning. Georgia is a model who is being stalked by an obsessed person. She had been receiving strange gifts then frightening text messages. She was permanently disfigured in an attack in her apartment building that was connected to the obsessed man. After the attack and subsequent surgeries, she still was receiving threatening messages. Her best friend is a police officer, and she sends her to Blade and Arrow Security, as the police never took her seriously, even after her brutal attack.

Leo is assigned to protect her, and he is concerned that she might be afraid of his very large, muscular body, even though he is extremely gentle with her. Somehow her stalker can locate her despite multiple moves. The search is on to find the man and allow Georgia to live a life of peace.

There is danger, intrigue, and romance all artfully blended into an excellent story. Gia Cobie is a wonderful storyteller and I highly recommend her books. 'Saved from Obsession' is the second in the Blade & Arrow Security series.

Saved by Obsession is an emotional roller coaster ride of abuse, obsession, terror and feelings of low self worth . Leo and Georgia are trapped in a journey to keep Georgia alive. The storyline will keep you guessing thru the end of the book. The character development is well written and secondary characters make the book better. After Georgia's stalker is brought to light things just become more confusing. You will not want to put this book down it is the second in the series but could definitely be read as a standalone.
I received the book as an ARC and this is my voluntary review.

Saved from Obsession is a hold onto your seat action packed fast paced twisted storyline with a boatload of surprise's as the plot unfolds the story becomes more heartbreaking and sad that as a society so much of how we see ourselves and how we perceive others seeing us is the based on looks I enjoyed the personal growth in Georgia and the slow burn romance with Leo I also liked that I was totally surprised at who the stalker was that doesn't happen to often usually I've figured it out by the 4th or 5th chapter I look forward to more stories in this series.

My first read of Gia Cobie's and it definitely won't be my last by her. Worked as a standalone but I will go back and read the first book. Georgia, a model in the past, turns to Blade & Arrow Security when her attacks keep coming. Leo (insert swoony sigh here) is part of the team and falls for her instantly. Danger, intrigue, terror, abuse, undeniable attraction, trust, sweetness, insecurities, big teddy bear alpha, twists, and love are all blended into an enthralling story. HEA.

This is an awesome story and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Georgia was a model until a stalker cut her face. The man went to jail and then everything started all over again. Her friend Hayden takes her to Blade and Arrow Security for help. Leo knows about the case before they arrive and when he meets Georgia, his protective instincts go through the roof. Can he and his team keep her safe? A must read story I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Leo and Georgia

I adore the quiet giant alpha trope. Leo is a bit intimidating guy, but never once is Georgia afraid of him. Even though she has every right to be afraid of all men. Leo is a giant teddy bear who falls hard for Georgia, the most they learn about each other the closer they get. This series is addictive. Prepare to get sucked it. I can’t wait to read the rest of the teams stories!

This was a great quick read because I simply couldn't put it down. Blade and Arrow Security take on the case of Georgia who seems to have multiple stalkers. I loved how the relationship between Georgia and Leo gradually grows. The story was original and had an interesting twist about the stalker. Discovering who the stalker was and if Leo could keep Georgia safe kept me on the edge of my seat. I received an ARC copy and am leaving my honest review.

Wow! I love the Blade and Arrow men. All of them are so wonderfully sweet and protective. Leo was a beautiful gentle giant who was protective without being ridiculously possessive. Georgia is strong and independent, yet still able to recognize when she needs help. These two were perfectly matched.

Being a model shouldn't give people the idea that they can harras with clls, texts, and letters. Georgia is feeling real scared and needs some extra support from Bkade and Arrow Security. She gets more than she bargains for. Love this series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Being a victim of any kind of violence severely damages our mind. What´s even worse is if it happens more than once and the authorities as well as your peers thing you are imagining things. Fortunately Giorgia not only found somebody believing her and ready to help her but a livelong supportiv of a loving person.

Gia Cobie's "Saved from Obsession" delves into a world of palpable danger, suspense, and the unwavering commitment of Blade and Arrow Security. The story revolves around Georgia, a professional model haunted by a relentless stalker, and the former Green Beret tasked with protecting her.

The narrative unfolds with a sense of escalating danger as Georgia, despite surviving her first stalker and the trauma it inflicted, finds herself once again targeted. The police dismiss it as PTSD, but her instincts lead her to Blade and Arrow Security for help. Cobie crafts a compelling tale, skillfully building tension and maintaining a sense of urgency.

The characters, especially Georgia and her protector, exhibit depth and vulnerability. The unexpected connection between Georgia and her guardian adds layers of emotion and intensity to the storyline. Cobie masterfully explores the complexities of trust and protection, creating a narrative that goes beyond the conventional bounds of romantic suspense.

The dynamics between the characters are heightened by the electrifying chemistry, a testament to Cobie's ability to weave romance seamlessly into a gripping plot. As the danger escalates and the second stalker is caught, the stakes rise, keeping readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.

"Saved from Obsession" not only delivers a riveting suspense plot but also explores themes of resilience, trust, and the healing power of connection. As part of the Blade and Arrow Security series, the book promises readers a satisfying conclusion while leaving them eager for more adventures from this team of protectors. Gia Cobie continues to impress with her ability to blend danger and romance, creating a captivating read for fans of the genre.

I love protector romances and this book is a great example. Georgia has been dealing with two stalkers, one of whom scarred her face, ending her career as a model. When the second stalker starts up after the first is caught, she can’t trust the police, as they feel it’s PTSD and not a real threat. With nowhere to turn, a friend puts her in contact with Blade & Arrow, a private security firm. Leo is assigned to her case as lead investigator.

Leo and Georgia are instantly attracted to each other and she feels Leo is the first person to see her and not her scar. They begin a relationship and she starts to feel hopeful that her long nightmare is coming to an end after the second stalker is caught. But just when she thought she was safe, a third comes after her. Who’s behind the series of stalkers? Can Leo keep her safe? When will Georgia’s ordeal end?

Happily, all three questions are answered and Georgia and Leo even get an HFN. The epilogue shows them a few weeks after the case is solved and leads into the next book, which I can’t wait to read! At least I can read the first book while waiting for the third to arrive. I’ve got to go back and see how Cole and Maya met.

If you love a good protector romance with a sweet and sensitive hero, don’t miss this book.

Really good until near the end, and it’s totally unbelievable.

I did really enjoy this book right till near the end when the author totally ruined it. When Georgia first starts being stalked the police don’t take her seriously, and fob her off as she’s a model and should be used to it. As the stalker escalates and attacks Georgia leaving her badly injured, it destroys her life and her career. When a second stalker starts sending her letters and and texts, she contacts the police who for some bizarre reason think she’s got ptsd and is doing it to herself! 🙄 Luckily for Georgia her best friend used to work with Cole in the police and B&A agree to take her case on.

Leo, Cole and Rylan are soon guarding Georgia, as her stalker again escalates. This is where it lost me a bit. When the second stalker is caught, why wasn’t he questioned about why he was doing it etc? While they’re protecting Georgia, Leo is fighting his feelings for her. WHY??? This is in EVERY SINGLE BOOK and it’s annoying. Poor Georgia is devastated as she believes she’s too ugly now to love.

Then right near the end the evil person behind all of Georgia’s problems is revealed and it didn’t make sense!! So disappointing!!

It is really good until the ending.

Georgia Dixon had achieved success in her modeling career, but what was more important was her ability to financially provide for her mother. That is taken away when she attracts a stalker who attacks her, injuring her face. Now she is terrified and has lost her career. Her best friend, Hayden, recommends they contact Blade & Arrow Security. Hayden knows the owners and they often handle pro-bono cases. One of the agents, former military Leo Wilder, makes her feel safe for the first time. Leo is attracted to Georgia as she tries to hide the scar on her face. Setting her up in a safe house, she will be protected until they put an end to her stalker. As the days go by, they slowly fall in love as they spend time together, talking and playing games. When they finally capture the man, they learn he was hired by someone online. The threats continue and soon are directed towards Leo. Will they find the twisted individual who has targeted her and will they be able to finally plan a future, together? Amazing characters and suspense from the very first page! Wow, this was a great read, about a woman who is harassed and ultimately injured by me meant to terrorize her. It's a tough read when you see the things she has to go through and the lack of support she gets to help her. It's likely a snapshot of too many women in the world who have to deal with similar issues. Gia really nails the likely debilitating emotions this person is causing Georgia and her relief that she actually has a group of retired special forces guys who believe her and want to help. Leo is her savior, a big guy who looks intimidating and is but with Georgia he is so drawn to helping her that he ends up falling for her and struggles with those new feelings for someone. He sees none of Georgia's flaws (things she thinks are flaws) and see only the incredibly strong and beautiful woman in front of him. This was a 2-day read just had to find out what would happen, as getting two guys seemed to be it not knowing the real bad guy was still out there waiting to claim her. This book convinced me to read more from this author, she just nailed this book and I want more from her.

Wow! The Blade & Arrow guys fall for the strongest women!

Yes, they may be a little cracked and dinted when they meet, but these women prove again and again just how strong they are. Against all odds they have survived circumstances that would crush others, they have not only survived but they are determined to continue the fight until they have reclaimed a life they are happy with, a life where they feel safe, are loved and are confident once again. It's a very long and harrowing journey, that feels never-ending and overwhelming at times, but Leo reminds Georgia she is not alone, and she is stronger than the psychopath who is terrorising her. Leo may be a giant of a man, but he has such an amazing way with those who are being terrorised, he is so softly spoken, gentle and patient - completely at odds with his outward appearance....but exactly what Georgia needs to relive past events as they gather information and to also face the challenges ahead as they turn the target onto the man haunting her.
I really like this band of emotionally damaged warriors who selflessly fight for those who society repeatedly fail. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

I loved this one even more than the first book in this series!

We're back with the Blade & Arrow Security team and this time it's Leo who's getting his happy ending. Leo is B&A's tech guy, ex-military just like the rest of the guys and there's nothing he can't find with his computer. He's a rough looking big guy with a heart of gold who can put everybody at ease with just his kind voice. And someone who's in desperate need of some kindness is Georgia.

Georgia is a former model, she had a super career until a stalker ended that with a viscious attack. It didn't end there even though the culprit was caught. When she keeps on being stalked and the danger amps up, she turns to Blade & Arrow where she meets Leo.

The immediate bond between Leo and Georgia is so warming to read, he's so patient with her, being her rock whenever things get to be to much for her when the danger is all around them. Together with the team they work on finding out who is behind all the attacks.

If you like lots of suspense, twists and turns around every corner than Saved from Obsession is the book for you.

Okay, Gia Cobie has got a hold on me and I hope she never stops with this series! The way she writes relationships and danger is next level! There are too many things I loved about this book to list them all, so I will just tell you about a few different things that really blew me out of the water with this one.

Georgia's emotions as she continuously deals with the person that is after her along with her career, her life, her appearance, and her trauma is enough to suck you in and keep you hooked. It's also more than enough to keep you getting misty eyed. At least it was for me. The relationship with Georgia and Leo was more than a little swoon worthy and I loved every second of it. This is the second book I have read by her and I have completely devoured both of them. I cannot wait for the next one to come out and strongly recommend checking out this book, series, and author.

Book two, and not to be missed.
Georgia just can’t get a break. She also can’t get the police to believe she’s still being stalked, and not just seeking attention. Luckily her best friend knows just where to get her help.
Leo’s not looking for a partner, he knows he’s big, and often scary looking. However, from his first meeting with Georgia he’s smitten, and determined to find her nemesis, and see her safe. If that means being with him all the better.
I love how Leo is this big gruff teddy bear, and sees Georgia, and not just her outward appearance. The author also has done a great job of showing just how the right person can have you change your perception of yourself.
Danger, hold your breath moments, and an unexpected stalker, as well as a darling of a hero, all come together to make a great read. If you haven’t read book one I highly recommend that one too.
