This book is more than just a compilation of statistical methodologies; it encapsulates the profound philosophy of the author. Even though it has been over 40 years since its publication, I believe all quantitative social scientists should seriously consider the author’s perspective at least once. This is particularly relevant in today’s era, where the vast volume of data can be overwhelming. It prompts us to pause and reflect: What exactly am I doing?
