Being an absolute Chilis fan, of course I enjoyed reading this book and I definitely learned some new things about the creation of this masterpiece. However, to gain a fuller understanding of this album and get a taste of the recording sessions at the Laurel Canyon mansion, I would advise anyone to also read Scar Tissue and watch the Funky Monks documentary.
