A solid 3.75 ✨
So let me just say what I love here.. Goliath. A.K.A. Ben.
I hate what occurred in his upbringing though, after his genesis. Truly broke my heart and made me physically ill to witness his memories.
I also love how he was all about his woman and literally being the very definition of "By Any Means Necessary"in being willing to get her back. 😍😍😍
I also love Emma. How she was able to acclimate herself to her scary circumstances and do what she could do, to protect herself while she was on her own🧡
No secret that I have been loving Emma with Goliath since I met them in book 1.
But this revelation also brings me to what I didn't like here and why this one, sadly, was not the 5 star read I was hoping for... There was no real 🔥 or intensity with Emma and Goliath here. Which left me wanting BIG TIME. I think they had more of that in the brief flashes and potential of them, in book 1, than they did here in their own story.
This story was a very quick read. High intensity stakes in regards to what occurred with Emma being taken and Goliath getting to her. Which also, IMO, was still a bit way too easy. But it was still intense to watch as it all unfolded. These aspects of the story were written quite well.
I just wish that this could have also translated more, with the dynamic between Goliath and Emma. What was promised or implied with these two in book 1, just was not present here for me.
That being said, I still think this is a decent MC series and based off of books 1 and 2, I would recommend this series..
I am also keeping with the hope that is said on the book(s) synopsis, that each tale gets deeper and darker. Hopefully this is true and the promise and potential I see in this author's writing will continue to flourish beautifully as the series progresses.

Goliath by E.R. Hendricks is a MC romance. This is the second book in the Ruthless Heathens series.
I am loving this series and how each book is novella length following each member in the MC. I absolutely love Goliath and Emma together. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book.
I can't wait for the next book King to be announced.

I loved Goliath and Emma!
So cute and he's so kind and gentle with her. Both come from kind of messed up backgrounds maybe Goliath more so and man it's heartbreaking his past! Check TWs! I love Emma as well! It was funny and sweet. A Lil spice but not much maybe a 2/5 but still good! A cliffy at the end! Bring on King!

Absolutely speechless! I don’t know what else to say except read this now!
The Ruthless Heathens series is quickly become one of my favorites! Book 1 (Splice) had me absolutely hooked, but Goliath oh my goodness! Goliath has my heart!
Goliath was such a fun read! It had me on the edge of my seat at times, screaming, laughing, crying and all the spiciness!
Goliath and Emma gave me all the feels! I was so excited after seeing a small snippet of them in the first book, that we would get a whole story for just the two of them, and it did not let me down.
The plot was so engaging that there wasn’t a moment when I was reading this that I felt bored or lost in the story.The spicy scenes had me swooning, and I will be re-reading this multiple times.
Overall this is an excellent read if you’re looking for a motorcycle gang romance that has a great plot,great characters,fun,and fast read.
I throughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to see what’s next in the Ruthless Heathens series!

Oh My This Book! I was excited for this book after the first one, and it did not disappoint. The story continues immediately after the first book. I love that E.R. Hendricks writing keeps moving the plot along within the different characters story. There was enough detail for you to become engrossed without....superfluous details and that just pulls you in. Taking you on this the journey full of emotional chaos, action, with a little bit of spice. It was easy to relate to both of these characters…they both come from their own traumatic past that may have left them broken. However they see each other in a way that no one else has making each other whole. For my ability to consume a book in one sitting (at night, in the dark, when everyone else is in bed) this is perfect. I can’t wait for the continuation of this series with book three!

Oh Goliath what a wonderful big guy.
This is book 2 in the Ruthless Heathens. This was Goliaths story and it continues from book 1's cliffhanger.
He is the silent enforcer and when I read why he is mute I actually cried 💔. He is a broken man and thinks he is too big and scary to be loved. When Emma came In to his life, she saw him differently. She understood him. So when she gets kidnapped in end of book 1 he is ready to tear apart the Devil's that may be responsible.
Emma was a very strong FMC and suffered just as worst. I loved their chemistry and how she is trying to teach him sign language.
Things are getting hotter and Devils are upping there game. Next book is on King. I wonder how that will go.

Where to begin? Goliath is the second book in the Ruthless Heathens MC series. Before reading, please, please, please check your trigger warnings. While I would not say this is a dark romance, I can see where others might. With that being said, it is a wonderful read. The world that was started in book one carries over so easily, along with the story line. Yes, you could read this as a standalone, but you will be left with questions of how things lead to this. And yes, this does have an ending that could be the HEA for this couple, but there is a cliff hanger for the series. If your looking for a good, page gripping, action pack read, this is your book. I give it a 4.25 star rating and a 2.5 pepper rating.

Oh dear sweet Goliath! My hurt aches for him majority of this book. Goliath is a continuation in a series, the first book being Splice. In this book, it continues as Goliath and the other MC members are trying to find the girls that were taken by arrival MC club. They find out that one of their own is a snitch. Goliath finds out where his girl Emma is and goes to save her. There is spice there, there is romance, and there are some gore. E never fails to leave me jaw dropped when I read her books! King is the next in the series which continues on from the cliffhanger left in Goliath. I never thought I would quite get emotional reading one of E’s books, and yet here I am crying sad and happy tears.

what a book ! goliath is so strong and thankfully is has what it takes to get things done , many people fall apart when a loved one is taken the patients he has to find and interrogate those involved to find whats his is amazing , to fight through what happens to him is beyond amazing
Emma wow not only is she strong to go through what she does , what she all ready suffers with and then goes through is truly spectacular and the to top of what she goes through for goliath ... what a woman ! i cant wait for the next one the plots E.R. Hendricks come up with are amazing !

The Big Man did not disappoint at all!!! Love this MC series!! A Must Read!!
This is book two in the Ruthless Heathens series that focuses on Goliath and Emma. It's full of emotions in this one from their pasts to the present situation they face. It picks up right where book one ends.
I honestly have a soft spot for the big scary looking guys who have the gentle giant vibes for their girl. Goliath was exactly that and his story is a bit heartbreaking at times. This was one of the characters I was drawn to from the beginning with him being the big giant enforcer who is mute. So I'm happy to finally get more of him and his girl Emma.
Emma has her own flaws and traumatic backstory but her connection to Goliath is instantaneous and I loved it. She knows there is way more than just a giant muscled man who doesn't speak. She gives him a feeling of being seen and understood. Their connection is so genuine. Love them so much!
Of course you can expect all the chaos and action packed moments and even a little spice thrown in to round out this emotional story. This is why I love to read this author, she always brings all the feels in her stories and this one has been one of my favorites. This MC isn't full of saints but they will go thru anything to get to their women and making it an unputdownable book.
I highly recommend this series because it gives you all the gritty raw feels of a ruthless MC with layers of emotional moments and even a little spice woven in to keep it rounded out. It's a must read for anyone wanting action, emotions, and spice!!

Our Gentle Giant Goliath will do anything to get back his woman Emma when she is taken from him. He travels across the ocean to save her. Emma does everything she can to survive until she decides to run. Both of them have lots baggage but together they will. find a love that will crush down any wall they might have. But first they must survive everything thrown their way if they going to get their happiness in the end.

This series is like the best kind of torture! I read Splice last night and immediately dove into Goliath right after. I am so sad that I don’t have access to all of the series right away… But I a series like this is worth waiting for. My heart is all melty with Goliath’s story. Who doesn’t love a giant deadly man that is only teddy bear soft for them? That’s like my favorite thing ever! So freaking stoked for the next book 🤩

If you want a book that will tug on your heart but also make it race this is the book for you. I love when characters are relatable and make you fall in love with them. I also love how it picks up right where book one left. The spice is minimal but it packs a punch and the story line is chefs kiss. I can’t wait for book three!

Think the Hulk but sexier. Big muscles, sexy aura, touch her and die vibes, gentle only for her. Yeah I slick want a Goliath.
He may be mute but my man’s gets his mission accomplished despite that. I love how he is so caring with Em but wants to body slam everyone else half the time.

Goliath and Emma's story did not disappoint. He is a man who will do anything for his woman and she is sweet. Both have their own past resulting in them being broken in a way. They have some great swoonworthy moments as they find something with eachother with plenty of heat. I am very much looking forward to reading the next book.

Goliath and Emma are absolutely adorable. I love their interactions. When they finally get some alone time it is steam central. I wish we would have gotten more than one scene. The series plot continues to be exciting and action packed. Can’t wait for King.

5/5 my favorite book in the series. I love the connection Goliath and Emma have. He manages to connect with her without being able to speak. All he has been through. As an Autism mom, i like the reference in the book gives input on emma and what autism feels like.

Fast Paced page turner
Who doesn't love a tattooed behemoth of a man built like a stone sculpture. This book picks up from the ending of the last one and is fast paced with twists and turns. Again shedding light on real life struggles while incorporating it into a story that kept me on the end of my seat.
Definitely need to read in order. Each rolls into the next and builds upon the grounds of the first one. What one man goes through to find the one that sees past the outside.

Sigh...Goliath. I fell for this man in Splice and couldn't wait for his story to be told.
Goliath is a mysterious man, with a traumatic past. His size is true to his name, and yes, he is covered in tattoos (Daddy!). Not only are his looks a leading factor to my current MMC obsession but the way he fought for Emma...swoon. This man would literally burn the world down if it meant keeping her safe and I am here for it.
Instead of keeping her distance, like most of the other characters, Emma was drawn to Goliath. She strengthened their ability to communicate and when they finally got their moment alone...holy hotness.
So yeah, if you're looking for a sexy MC read - this right here is it.

This was by far one of my favorite books!!!
I am a sucker for giant men who would 🔪 for you but treat you like your glass while also giving you the best 🍆!!
The MCs were both so broken and in need of what the other had for them that I was mushy for them the whole time.
I had some great laughs while wanting to smoosh the big man. I wished I could obliterate the other chapter and mafia… but come on y’all the cliffhanger has me stitches 😱
I am excited for book 3 and the next couples battle to fight this battle.
