This endearing read uses pictures to portray fathers in different cultures and places around the world. It shows a variety of different hobbies and fun activities children do with their fathers in different places. This book has a touching point that no matter the shape or form of the expressions of a father's love, it is always as strong and meaningful wherever you find it.

This is a MUST READ! The big, picture book has actual photos of fathers around the world as they interact with their children. I chose to add this book to my collection since it depicts a different side of dads. Often they are presented in a negative light and stereotyped as being absent or of a bad influential nature. However, there are many positive, proud fathers out there who play very active roles in their children's lives.

I applaud the author and photographer for providing an index at the back of the book. As I flipped through the pages, reading the headings and gazing at the photos, I wondered why particular photos or poses were chosen. After completing the book and perusing the index, I was no longer confused. It provided clarity, information about the fathers, and pages numbers to easily revisit photos of interest.

This book could be read to children to remind them of all the wonderful things their dads do for them. This book is more suited for the younger children. I would read this book before having students complete an activity for their parents in order to remind them of some nice things they could say about their parents. One could also read this story before Father's Day.

A very simple book. I liked that it focused on fathers. There isn't a "story", just a simple narrative about what fathers do with their children, accompanied by pictures of fathers and their children from cultures all over the world. Someone gave this to me when my (newly adopted) daughter were apart from her daddy for a few months.
