Book Four of the Law of One is the last of the books in the Law of One series. Book Four explores in great detail the archetypical mind which is the framework provided by our Logos or sun body to aid each of us in the evolution of mind, body, and spirit. Tarot, astrology, and ritual magic are three paths offering the study of the archetypical mind, and in Book Four a study of that rich resource is undertaken using the tarot, also uncovered on the nature and purpose of the veil that we experience between the conscious and the unconscious minds and the process of "forgetting" that occurs during each incarnation in our third-density experience. In Book Four the path of the adept becomes more clear as Ra elucidates the adept's use of experience to balance its energy centers and penetrate the veil of forgetting.
Out of the 4 books in the series that I've read so far this one is by far the most convoluted one. While the previous books spoke on a variety of topics, the fourth volume is almost exclusively on the Tarot.
I think the biggest barrier to the flow of this book is that it was channelled in the 80s when personal computers were not available. Hence the information is structured in a way that, in theory, would be most valuable to the reader. Primarily this was achieved by cutting out all the personal channelling information and only leaving that which pertains to the Tarot.
This of course harmed the flow of the book as at times it is really hard to follow the narrative. It is sort of like listening to a conversation where only a few sentences are heard. It seriously disrupts the flow. This book needs be to online so that reader can chose to read "only the tarot stuff" or "the whole narrative as it was channelled".
The Egyptian tarot printed in the front pages of the book is quite different from the tarot that RA and is discussing, which adds to the confusion amidst the complexity of the material.
Therefore putting this book online, in the format suggested above, with a more appropriate Egyptian Tarot would help significantly to make this material more accessible. This website: Law of One is as close as we get to a different, more comprehensible organization of the information. Having the Tarot in colour as well, would improve the experience. As you can see below, it is much better in colour! :)
Fairly interesting going into the evolution of multiple 'universes' (well, logoi in their terms), experiments prior to the implementation "free will" and the moral polarization that results in ignorance of other selves (and our all being the universe together).
The discussion of archetypes via the tarot, and how the readings are to be subjectively interpreted. The framework of Matrix, Potentiator, Significator, etc. seems to suggest at how such a cosmic sturcture could be implemented.
It's also quite fun to hear the bits of Ra's no bullshit health and dietary advice. It's very simple.
Book IV of the RA Material continues the universal infinite philosophy of the Law of One. Book IV covers sessions seventy-six thru one-hundred and three of the exact transcript from tape recorded sessions of a group experiment designed to communicate with an extraterrestrial being. The research group uses what is known as “tuned trance telepathy” to communicate with an extraterrestrial race called Ra, not to be confused with the Egyptian Sun God Ra. Book IV of The Law of One is a beginning in the examination of the nature and the proper metaphysical use of the archetypical mind. The archetypical mind is the mind of the Logos, the blueprint used to make the creation and the means by which we evolve in mind, body, and spirit.
Concluding book of tha Ra Channelings, that is not personal to the channeller. This discusses the Egyptian Tarot cards and system at some length. And while is interesting, can get a little confusing understanding the aspects intended by Ra and the questioner. However I enjoyed this book, like the other three. I recommend as reading, if only for the idea of the Philosophy of the Law of One. I hesitate to call it a philosophy, as there is no evidence it is not piecemeal belief system of the Authors. However the text does seem genuine, as I did not spot contradiction or error. I will leave that for you to decide for yourself. Happy reading.
The least impressive of the first 4 books because it focuses on archetypes and tarot a bit much but there are still some gems in there, including how to cleanse a space from negative energy
The last book of the series and the least enjoyable one. I think most of the useful insights were shared from Book 1, and the quality of the material declined from there.
The biggest insight for me was the channeled material includes mainly material that the channels knew how to interpret. The people who were involved with the channeling were concerned mainly with deeply esoteric spiritual practices, such as Tarot, and that is what the channeled.
There were few useful insights on metaphysics and the archetype of mind.
No one has mentioned this but there is a mistake in the description. This is not the last book in this series. There is a book five that focuses on their experience working with Ra. We get to hear from Jim and from Carla, the channel, and get their insights which i found fascinating.
