This book called, Building Your Vocabulary had tons of information about words. It discusses where words come from, word families, the longest words in English, and much more. It also includes challenging vocabulary- building games and 100 great words to know. Their are so many ways to teach literacy using this book, students do an activity on synonyms and antonyms or homophones, homonyms, and homographs. Students can even take words out of this book and have a spelling test. This books is great, especially for elementary students because every time they res, speak, or write they need vocabulary words. The more their vocabulary grows, the more confident they feel about their school work and tests.
