They're dating! But they don't want people to know they're dating! So they pretend they're not dating! It's cute, I guess. It isn't blowing me away. I don't exactly get why it's so taboo that they're dating, why it's such a big deal, why they have to keep it secret, etc. I guess they just do! Despite a whole volume about them I don't really know why they're dating at all- they just are. There's more focus on keeping the relationship a secret than about the relationship itself outside of one or two moments.
So far, so good. I haven't finished the series in its entirety as yet, but I do buy the idea of office romances, and the need for our two protagonists to keep it a secret.
The romances are pretty sweet (and our two leads are perhaps a mite horny...), but I do like the depictions of modern-day romances, and the work invovled to make it work.
this is right up my alley - workplace romance with just enough blushing and pining, but also quite sweet and funny. I have been looking for something to scratch that itch after wotakoi and sweat & soap!!!!! love it so far!!

The cover looked cute and I was intrigued so I thought I would give it a try, knowing it could go one of two ways: it could be awkward but cute or it could be awkward but cringey. Unfortunately, it was the latter. There’s no tension build up, no accidental touches in the office; it’s just two people trying to hide their relationship in the most difficult to watch way. It just wasn’t for me.
