University of California, Davis. Second edition of an encyclopedic reference for large animal veterinarians, using a problem-oriented approach to diagnosis and treatment. Previous edition 1990. Halftone illustrations and color plates. 141 contributors, 131 U.S.
Very comprehensive and helpful book, but cumbersome for quick reference. Good to have as a reference while studying large animal medicine. I didn't practice large animal, so I didn't use it after school, but I imagine a large animal or mixed practitioner would want this on their shelves.
